Just curious… but why the Miata seats?
I find the bottom bolstering pretty uncomfortable in my Sport's cloth seats. I've got a pad I add and move around during roadtrips but even that is a nuisance with time. Had considered mustang seats, but wasn't sure they would fit. Miata being so small was almost a guarantee it was compatible. They're also lightweight and don't have a bunch of motors to contend with.

I (Nissan) fixed the radio. There is apparently a soft reset functionality for the radio where you hold both the power and tune buttons at the same time.

Reset fixed my super robotic phone calling issue
Thanks. I'll have to try the reset method the next time my infotainment freezes again
From what I understand, yes. Others here have swapped Sport and Perf axle-back to the NISMO/Tenneco. Would like someone who knows 100% to confirm.
Its 100% confirmed all OEM A/T axlebacks are the same

I rather spruce up my Nismo Z interior over my engine bay 😃

Details matter…the carbon gauge cluster really dials it all in if you can spring for it! Love the baby nismo on the dash!

The wheels looks great, I like the fitment. What are the specs on the wheel? As for the tires, I have the same one on my Shelby, I’m happy with them, little road noise, but not bad. I have heard the PS4 is the all around best tire in its category, but the performance of the Extreme contact is very close the PS4’s.
Thank you! Wheels are 9.5 in the front, 10.5 in the rear, +12 on both. For tires I went 255/40/19 on the front and 285/35/19 on the rear.

I did a lot of reading prior to pulling the trigger on the tires, and it seemed like most people had good things to say about the Sport 02's, but so far my experience is that the tires feel "hard", for lack of a better way to put it. Bumps in the road are noticeably more jarring, and the car doesn't feel like it tracks as straight as it did with the stock wheel and tire setup. Another thing I noticed is that when I applied some tire shine, they didn't seem to absorb any of it, which struck me as a little odd. I can live with them being a bit louder than stock (and they are), but I've run PS4's in the past and I don't feel like I had these issues/concerns with them. I'm still undecided at the moment, but need to make up my mind soon.

Sanity checking... Did you overfill your air pressure? Did the shop do an alignment after new wheel/tires?.

I've had a performance shop do an alignment and my steering wheel was all sorts of crooked.

Drove a 180SX from Tupelo, MS to Tallahassee, FL with the steering wheel about 45 degrees off. Horrible. Never got used to it. 8 hour trip that felt like 12.

Sometimes the larger wheels and tires can cause some tramlining, my Shelby does the same thing, especially on uneven pavement. It may be the combo of the new wider wheels with the tires.

I just got back from the Nissan dealership.

The problem: Super robotic dial-up phone calls in both bluetooth and android auto.
The fix: They said they updated it (big lie) but likely did end up reflashing it.

Fix attempt #1 by me: Reset via settings (not fixed)
Fix attempt #2 by Dealer: Press and hold power and tune buttons for reset (fixed)

~several days later~ -> Issue reappears

Go to dealership 6/24/25.
Fix attempt #3 by Dealer: Said they updated the software but the software version is the exact same. (Fixed)

I noticed that originally my unit was missing a serial number. Picture taken on 6/3 below. After the "update" the serial number magically appeared. I wonder if they just reinstalled/reflashed the same software version. Not against it. I do that with my phone and windows all the time anyways.

I ordered it and the piece that goes above the steering area dash but they came later.

So, as punishment for eating a huge pothole a couple months ago and/or abusing the tires by driving them though the winter, my tire got a lil pimple:

So I had to stop my hand wringing and finally put some new tires on her. Thanks to this forum, the excellent reviews over on tirerack, and a helpful reply from @Michael C. , I decided on a good set of all seasons and went a bit wider than stock. Ended up going with the Pilot Sport A/S 4 over the DWS06+

So far I'm pretty happy with them. I was worried about going from summers to all-seasons, but they've been super solid.

Definitely a ton of grip and sharper steering response than the S007s. Super confident around all the usual ramps and curves. Haven't gotten them to kick out under acceleration yet. Some combination of the tires and wider tread.

Based on the reviews I knew they would be a bit louder than the S007s and the DWS06+, and they are, but nothing more than normal tire-on-road sound. I almost always drive with music and/or the windows down, so I don't mind. They're also probably a bit "sharper" over road bumps, but again, I don't care, it's a sports car.

According to the stat sheet, the PS A/S 4 265/35 is fairly tall compared to some other brands at the same size, so I felt comfortable going to it, but I can definitely tell it's slightly lower on the front. If I went back and did it again I might go to the 265/40, but maybe that would look/feel too large? IDK.

The widths are spot on though, thanks for your feedback on that. The sidewalls are pretty square to the rims, no ballooning but no stretched look like the stock widths. And I feel like the extra width compensates a bit for going to the less sticky tire.

The only thing I'll have to see is the cold weather/ice/snow performance. But they can't be worse than the 007s, they were atrocious (obviously, being summer tires).

I share those same sentiments (minus the louder sound). Glad to hear that they're working out well. Additionally, I think a 265/40 would be too tall up front. I live in a colder climate, and all-season tires perform well compared to the 007 in colder temperatures.
