I am using the resistors FSUZ33 built, so far no issues. I ended up buying extra because I'm not sure how the new Z will do on the track and if it will throw a "popper code" or whatever to initiate the hood poppers on hard braking or potential, knock on wood, off track events.
If that's the...
Heard loud and clear on that PITA bolt. Ended up using pliers to get it initially loose, then the rubber portion of a plier handle to grip and rotate without fear of rounding off the edges of the nut.
It is a nut so make sure you have a magnetic grabber ready.
Other people are saying that the...
Nothing shows on my Ecutek and no warning lights. Whatever Consult might say is a different thing possibly, but I highly doubt Consult would recognize these if the computer itself isn't detecting anything.
I'm not sure about you but my plugs were very difficult to reach and removing the poppers...
Installed a set of the bypass delete from @FSUZ33 and after much cussing at Nissan for the placement of a nut that close to the fuse box bracket, I'm happy to report there are zero codes thrown on my Ecutek. Just fuel pressure which clears after it gets to operating temp and clears via Ecutek...
I ended up buying connectors that you and the other gentleman shared the info on, that I was going to integrate with the bypass. However I think my source might not be legit as I can't seem to find an order email.
If you happen to have a link for the connectors themselves I'd be very grateful 🙏...
I don't disagree. I just don't want the car to think I'm going to hit something and pop the hood on the track when I go from 140-20 really quickly. End of the day the price for the kit isn't bad at all, I am just curious I think more than anything. I did ask about Ecutek having an option to...
I'm actually not sure what they did. I noticed that as well. My exhaust is the AWE Track exhaust which I will go over the pros and cons of in that exhaust area and why I needed to get out the grinder 😅 I believe they had another Z in the same color as mine in the shop, but the likelihood that it...
The installers of my 1.5 GT Pro Nismo LSD apparently added friction modifier (BAD) to the Redline fluid mentioned above. We dumped that and put the Nismo/motul fluid in there. Hoping to see some better behavior once I pick it up very soon
