So after getting my Z1 Sunshade I discovered a flaw that I’m willing to overlook because this sunshade is great quality. The sunshade is designed for the 370z because the area in the middle of the rz34 (ADAS)is wider than the 370z mirror area but Z1 never updated it for our cars to have a wider...
Once you figure out how to get the airbag off fast you won't be disappointed. Just be careful after that and there's some videos online but they don't show how to take off the piano black buttons housing.
The paddles have this strong magnetic kickback to pulling them while making a kind of high pitch clacking sound. Many Youtube videos have the sound. Wait!! I'll see if I can make a video of how it sounds
Yeah I liked the oem paddles but wanted the magnetic type and I kind of hate the fact that the oem paddles are plastic when Nissan used to offer magnesium paddles in the 370Z.
Since my car is only driven on the weekends I have a feeling these would die fast and I would have regrets because I don't have a tender and my car stays outside.
Yeah it may be more problematic with the Nismo tuning because after I installed the CZP I noticed a catastrophic difference in how my Nismo acted with the TruControl. It felt as if I was driving in 60-65 degree cool fall weather but it was a 95 degree, super humid Georgia day. Before it would...
I find your reasoning off a bit because the front Z emblem looks identical to the Z emblems on the side. I’m guessing that means you don’t like the Z emblems on the side because they are surrounded by the black ⚫️ as well?
That’s interesting. It may be that it’s problematic with the Nismo since it has a more aggressive tune but then I’ve heard some issues with Performance model owners as well. What gas octane do you use? And how was the outside temperature during these track days?
So fellas I decided to do some in depth analysis on the Stillen TruControl unit. I called Jon, the tuner at Z1 and explained to him I that I want my Nismo dynoed with the B6A intake, Stillen Exhaust and CZP heat exchanger for stock-ish dyno purposes, then use the Stillen TruControl on Map...
I never said it sucked, only that many people have issues running it but the reason for their issue is simple, more boost and insufficient stock cooling is a recipe for disaster.
On the entire tank I do 2 gallons and the remaining 14.2/4 is 93. Or if I put in 4 gallons then 0.5 gallon of that must be e85, half a tank 7 to 1, and 3/4's of a tank 1.5 gallons of e85.
