  1. What did you do to your Z today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

So, as punishment for eating a huge pothole a couple months ago and/or abusing the tires by driving them though the winter, my tire got a lil pimple: So I had to stop my hand wringing and finally put some new tires on her. Thanks to this forum, the excellent reviews over on tirerack, and a...
  2. Anyone's Auto Z behaviour change when the car can't recognise a speed limit?

My 9AT Performance did seem to like to hang on to gears a lot longer and run at much higher RPM the couple of times I took it on the track at Dominion Raceway. And somtimes it will inexplicably do the same thing on a random street or tunnel. I'm probably just crazy, and it might be a driving...
  3. Tyre sizes on oem wheels

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to keep considering this set up, along with one on the Pilot Sport A/S 4. I'm not planning on lowering the car. My front chin spoiler scrapes on occasion if I'm not careful, I can't imagine going much lower. Tbh I never installed the rear air diverters. Didn't...
  4. Tyre sizes on oem wheels

Your set up is the exact one I was looking at. How do you like it? Any issues? I was thinking 265/40 F -285/35 R, but the DWS06+ doesn't come in 265/40, and going 275/35 F seems a bit wide for the stock wheel. I am a bit concerned that the 265/35 is 0.3in shorter on the sidewall than the...
  5. 23' Nissan Z Stock Cat-Back Exhaust - $300- Pick-Up - New Jersey

I see this is a pretty old post, but is this still available?
  6. Moving across the country. Would you drive or ship your Z?

I drove across the country twice in my old Cobalt and had a great time. Would be even better in the Z. Up to you how much you want to drive the car vs. look at it, but I would always choose the former.
  7. First Real World look at 2025 Bayside Blue Z

Color looks good, but the loss of the black roof and hatch is a bit of a turnoff for me. The integration of the two tone with overall shape is one of the reasons I was really attracted to the looks of the Z.
  8. Any regrets?

I guess I kinda assumed, because you're right, it doesn't really fit in the glovebox. I think the manual calls it the "Document Holder" or something like that. It would be nice to have that space for other stuff, although it won't fit a full size "Document". The Mustang had a dedicated manual...
  9. Any regrets?

Isn't it supposed to go in the fold out holder behind the passenger seat?
  10. Any regrets?

I traded in my 2017 Mustang Ecoboost for my Z. No real regrets, other than paying almost MSRP for it. The Z has way more power and better handling, even if it's not a track monster. It's awesome to drive, on the road and when I got it on the track for a bit. It's also way more unique and draws...
  11. 2025 Fairlady Z Announced

The blue looks good, but I prefer the two tone with the black roof.
  12. New 2024 Z Performance Owner as of last night!

Most likely the front splitter/chin spoiler and the two air deflectors that go in front of the rear tires. It seems very common that the dealers don't install them before selling the car. I had the dealer install the spoiler, did it for free as they should. Would have done it myself, but it...
  13. What did you do to your Z today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Thanks to These Three Threads for the idea and pictures, my Z now has a spare tire tucked under the trunk.
  14. Unresolved issues prospective buyers should know?

No problem. You mentioned car reviews, so my thoughts on that: I saw all the track reviews and drag races and whatnot, and I was worried about the performance. On the road though, the car is incredibly powerful and torquey, with a nice engine howl when you get her going. It is heavy for it's...
  15. Unresolved issues prospective buyers should know?

I have a 9AT Performance with ~3000mi. Overall, I love the car so far, but you asked specifically for the issues, so, going down your list: Transmission: I had a Ford 6AT before, and the 9AT definitely likes to shift more frequently, which can be awkward at times. Mitigated in Sport mode...
  16. Will this car be forever known as "400Z"?

I totally agree. Even the "car guys" in the office were confused when I explained the naming. One still calls it the 400. I know it's an unpopular opinion, because of the whole displacement thing, but I think 400Z would have been a fine name, even if it breaks with tradition.
  17. Put the Continental DWS06+ on my ‘24 Nismo

I'm curious if you felt like you lost any traction going from the summer tires to the all-seasons. I've been looking at both the DWS 06 Plus and the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 as options based on this report and my positive experience with the Potenza Sport AS on my previous Mustang. I want to...
  18. New Member Introductions

Hey folks, long time lurker, first time poster. I bought my new Seiran Blue 9AT Z about a month ago to replace my 2017 2.3L Mustang. I've been loving the car so far and put about 2500 miles on her between daily driving and a road trip back to NY. While the Mustangs are super common, especially...
