Went from a Mustang to the Z a year ago. I was nervous for awile too, I feel like it's probably normal. New control layout, new sightlines, new engine and handling, new transmission, most expensive car I've bought.
But it goes away and now I'm jusf as comfortable as I was with the Mustang. Just...
There should be 2 of them. They're "air guides" that go under the car in front of each rear wheel. If you look under you'll see the bolt holes.
I never installed mine, they're sitting in a box in my garage.
Edit: Pg 10-17 in the 2024 manual shows them.
That's a cool website, definitely would have been helpful, athough luckily there was enough info around. I used this website to help inform my decision, which helped:

So far I'm pretty happy with them. I was worried about going from summers to all-seasons, but they've been super solid.
Definitely a ton of grip and sharper steering response than the S007s. Super confident around all the usual ramps and curves. Haven't gotten them to kick out under...
So, as punishment for eating a huge pothole a couple months ago and/or abusing the tires by driving them though the winter, my tire got a lil pimple:
So I had to stop my hand wringing and finally put some new tires on her. Thanks to this forum, the excellent reviews over on tirerack, and a...
My 9AT Performance did seem to like to hang on to gears a lot longer and run at much higher RPM the couple of times I took it on the track at Dominion Raceway. And somtimes it will inexplicably do the same thing on a random street or tunnel.
I'm probably just crazy, and it might be a driving...
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to keep considering this set up, along with one on the Pilot Sport A/S 4.
I'm not planning on lowering the car. My front chin spoiler scrapes on occasion if I'm not careful, I can't imagine going much lower. Tbh I never installed the rear air diverters. Didn't...
Your set up is the exact one I was looking at. How do you like it? Any issues?
I was thinking 265/40 F -285/35 R, but the DWS06+ doesn't come in 265/40, and going 275/35 F seems a bit wide for the stock wheel. I am a bit concerned that the 265/35 is 0.3in shorter on the sidewall than the...
I drove across the country twice in my old Cobalt and had a great time. Would be even better in the Z. Up to you how much you want to drive the car vs. look at it, but I would always choose the former.
Color looks good, but the loss of the black roof and hatch is a bit of a turnoff for me. The integration of the two tone with overall shape is one of the reasons I was really attracted to the looks of the Z.
I guess I kinda assumed, because you're right, it doesn't really fit in the glovebox. I think the manual calls it the "Document Holder" or something like that. It would be nice to have that space for other stuff, although it won't fit a full size "Document".
The Mustang had a dedicated manual...
I traded in my 2017 Mustang Ecoboost for my Z. No real regrets, other than paying almost MSRP for it.
The Z has way more power and better handling, even if it's not a track monster. It's awesome to drive, on the road and when I got it on the track for a bit. It's also way more unique and draws...
Most likely the front splitter/chin spoiler and the two air deflectors that go in front of the rear tires. It seems very common that the dealers don't install them before selling the car.
I had the dealer install the spoiler, did it for free as they should. Would have done it myself, but it...
No problem. You mentioned car reviews, so my thoughts on that:
I saw all the track reviews and drag races and whatnot, and I was worried about the performance.
On the road though, the car is incredibly powerful and torquey, with a nice engine howl when you get her going.
It is heavy for it's...
I have a 9AT Performance with ~3000mi. Overall, I love the car so far, but you asked specifically for the issues, so, going down your list:
Transmission: I had a Ford 6AT before, and the 9AT definitely likes to shift more frequently, which can be awkward at times. Mitigated in Sport mode...
