How does that lock nut work with the Bluetooth? I heard that it's incompatible.
Just make sure the rims and locknuts are on Bluetooth 5.4. First mounted the rims on 5.2 and it was sketch. 😳

Wish I took pics of how the rims started. Every single one of them had curb rash and paint was flaking. These rims were cleaned. The black you see is the underlying primer below the silver paint.

What is that, a set of spacers they sell?
I installed the Z1 Wheel Fitment kit on my Z this morning. Easy but time consuming install since everything has to be torqued to spec. Love the look!

From what I remember Z1 sells it as a “fitment kit.” They have a kit for stock height and lowered. I believe it’s a full set of bolt on spacers, but they don’t list the sizes. Pretty sure someone here said it was 20mm F & R, but not sure if that’s for the stock or lowered, or if 20mm x 4 is correct. I asked @ljpetraska on a separate ‘spacer’ thread.

Correct, it’s their “wheel fitment kit”. It’s two sets of 20mm aluminum spacers.

Well I did a couple to my Z. My girl decided to gift me a couple things for Father’s Day. I’m super happy about the results. New spoiler, and some cold air intakes, and an undershroud. undeshroud, is not installed yet. Next week it’ll be installed.

finally got them on and mounted, Nismo lugs + valve stem caps. Went with Extreme Contact Sport 2's, which I'm unfortunately not feeling so far...I thought they'd improve my driving experience, but honestly I feel like these tires are making it worse. I hate to say it because I really wanted to like these tires, but I'm considering exchanging them for PS4s.

Nice wheels.

What I did to my Z this weekend...

Take it to the dealership (again) for dial up sounding phone calls in the infotainment system. Going back again tomorrow. Hope I don't have a lemon and consult 2 (is it 3 now?) can fix it

The wheels looks great, I like the fitment. What are the specs on the wheel? As for the tires, I have the same one on my Shelby, I’m happy with them, little road noise, but not bad. I have heard the PS4 is the all around best tire in its category, but the performance of the Extreme contact is very close the PS4’s.

In the recent past you could pull up category rankings for tires @ Tire Rack. Now, they show you scores for the individual tire and the % within the category, but I don't see a link to pull up the full category chart. The PS4S is 99% in category, so something, fairly recently I believe, has knocked the PS4S from the top spot in Max Performance Summer.

Edit: Poked around and #1 appears to be the Conti ExtremeContact Sport 02

Got an ND Miata seat mounted for a test fit this weekend. Need to get the seat reupholstered still, and figure out how to adapt the side airbag connection. Cooled/heated seats might be an option as well if I can figure out how to power and control it.

Just curious… but why the Miata seats?
