Way more info about airbag circuits online, and with the poppers being in that same system, and looks like use the same connectors, I'm figuring that's a pretty solid reference point.
Looks like the go-to is 2.2 ohms. The check range (what the car wants to see) is 1.5 to 3 ohms, so 2.2 is right in the middle of that. 2.0 ohm with a 5% tolerance is perfectly fine (1.9 to 2.1 ohms). Check current is apparently extremely low, as the go-to res wattage is 1/4W or 1/2W, so 1W should be VERY rugged.

Sending a set to @KrackaC8 to test out...'off-road only,' of course.

I agree and suggested long ago ~2ohms was correct (Digital Electronics was my Bachelors degree and now one of my hobbies).
Anyway- I found a source of some sealed plug-in resistor modules specifically made to be waterproof and simulate airbags or poppers. Here’s pics of measure two at random. Anything around 2-2.2ohms is what the ACM expects to see.

I had to buy 10. So if anyone wants a set, I may be able to send them out in a small envelope (although probably not with just a a 1st class stamp. Shoot me a DM if you want a pair, probably about $5 postage. Item is free.

For the people who have done this bypass, I can just pull the cylinder poppers out right? Does anyone know how much they weight? Would be a pretty neat reduction to weight at the front end but I estimate like 2 lb max lol.

They weigh 1lb 1.4oz each popper. 2lb 2.8 oz total for both.

I weighed them for another member here.

That makes sense, thanks for the exact measurement. So these can come out after bypassing right?

To each their own but I’m not cheaping out on my $50k toy.

Buy once, cry once has rarely failed me.

Plus, anything to do with electrical current is a mystery to me.

I don't disagree. I just don't want the car to think I'm going to hit something and pop the hood on the track when I go from 140-20 really quickly. End of the day the price for the kit isn't bad at all, I am just curious I think more than anything. I did ask about Ecutek having an option to disable these and SOHO said it wasn't an option and handled by a different system in the car

They look good I just ordered a set, looks like there’s a 2A fuse connecting them and the resistor is inline on that wire but I dont know for sure why they use the fuse for connecting them, probably better than just using the resistor as it’s added protection. Also, $200 is a lot of money for something like this, not a performance mod, and that you may not even need. It’s like insurance, why pay $200 at the most boujee place when you can get the same service for $15? Just make sure it’s protected from water.
