Thank you for posting with the details! After seeing all that is involved in the process, I might as well remove them completely and have peice of mind that they won't just pop-off at some point.

I think this forum is awesome! People are always helpful and respectful ... some of us have some off humor at times.
The pop-ups suck and it is only in the US ... for zero reason from my research.
$6k damage, may be a low estimate, of course, depends on where you live.
Execellent question to ask @sarge

Mine came in at ~$182 ( exchange rate difference?).
Much better than $6k+ in damage.

Ordered mine. More so for the weight reduction aspect haha. Can't wait to install these over the winter.

I love this place, I bought my Z from my Cousin, he’s a Corporate Mgr at Nissan, it was his company car for a few months. When I picked the car up I knew things about the car he didn’t because of this site. You def get a lot of tips, tricks and insights reading the posts. Viva La Z Forum!!!!

Does anyone know the needed resistance to fool the ECU? I'm just going to chop the connectors off the existing poppers and solder in whatever resistor.
3D print some custom covers for the holes in the splash guards

Per @alienpoker post HERE it could be 2 Ohm, 1/2W, but he did ask for someone to meter it to verify. And I don’t know if that was done/posted.
I have some other work to do once Zoe gets unwrapped from her winter blanket. I'll measure the originals. Maybe sooner if there's some days above -10 soon

I keep getting inconsistent reading ... it keeps dropping to .2/.1 ohms
