Achieved a historic milestone in the Nismo
Plenty of good miles! What % of those are on track? Curious of longetivity, turbos, issues, etc. so far.Achieved a historic milestone in the Nismo
Hard to know for sure. I would say a small percentage of the total but its had 16+ days on track and I spend a lot of time driving around the mountains in Western NC in a very "spirited" manner. I've run into so few issues that I'm actually starting to get worried that I haven't had any problems yet.Plenty of good miles! What % of those are on track? I had to clay mine because it sat on a lot for a year. If you have to buff a car this new something is terribly wrong with where you bought it.@Tranzor Z
that's the thing... the car has 89 km and the paint looks super rough as if the dealer washed the car with a broom. so obviously i want to correct that.
what is your logic behind your theory of not buffing a car that is post 2023?
https://www.vicrez.com/vicrez-genali-vr2-wicker-bill-vz101275-nissan-z-2022-2023Didn't wanna start a thread for this. Does anyone make a wicker bill for this car?
I finally checked mine and everything is still tight on mine. They are an odd setup with those little rubber/plastic rivets that you screw into but all good here still.@traska_rz34
Are those ZSpec fasteners for the radiator cover? The ones with the rubber threaded grommet things?
If so, do yours come loose? I have that identical Z1 panel and got the ZSpec kit that replaces most/all of the plastic rivets, 28 pcs, I think. Anyway, I've only installed the ones for the radiator panel, and every time I pop the hood I can turn all of the bolts by hand. Maybe I'm not tightening them enough. Idk. Looks good, but annoying.
was he able to keep a straight face when he said that… looks like you took it to walmart. You would have to do that on purpose and no concern not to clean it up.Got an oil change at the dealership. It was interesting hearing the service advisor explain how meticulous they have to be with the Z for oil changes compared to other vehicles.
I wonder how meticulous you need to be to leave oil smeared all over the fender![]()
I’ve been to this dealership several years ago when I had Nissans before and never had this experience there. But, given this experience today, I’m considering finding an Independent.was he able to keep a straight face when he said that… looks like you took it to walmart. I refuse to take my car to the dealership - not even for the free oil changes..
