Mine is under wraps for the winter, sadly I can only view videos of my rides until I take her out again :)

Achieved a historic milestone in the Nismo
Plenty of good miles! What % of those are on track? Curious of longetivity, turbos, issues, etc. so far.

Hard to know for sure. I would say a small percentage of the total but its had 16+ days on track and I spend a lot of time driving around the mountains in Western NC in a very "spirited" manner. I've run into so few issues that I'm actually starting to get worried that I haven't had any problems yet.

Got an oil change at the dealership. It was interesting hearing the service advisor explain how meticulous they have to be with the Z for oil changes compared to other vehicles.

I wonder how meticulous you need to be to leave oil smeared all over the fender

that's the thing... the car has 89 km and the paint looks super rough as if the dealer washed the car with a broom. so obviously i want to correct that.

what is your logic behind your theory of not buffing a car that is post 2023?
I had to clay mine because it sat on a lot for a year. If you have to buff a car this new something is terribly wrong with where you bought it.

Performance trim here, been noticing the car kinda wants to wander like you have to keep making slight steering corrections to hold the car on line. I measured the front alignment and it was about 1mm of toe in on each side. I adjusted to zero and it calmed that behavior down a lot. Just an fyi in case anyone else is experiencing that and wants a solution.

Are those ZSpec fasteners for the radiator cover? The ones with the rubber threaded grommet things?
If so, do yours come loose? I have that identical Z1 panel and got the ZSpec kit that replaces most/all of the plastic rivets, 28 pcs, I think. Anyway, I've only installed the ones for the radiator panel, and every time I pop the hood I can turn all of the bolts by hand. Maybe I'm not tightening them enough. Idk. Looks good, but annoying.
I finally checked mine and everything is still tight on mine. They are an odd setup with those little rubber/plastic rivets that you screw into but all good here still.

Anyone here have the Z1 3-point brace? I'm getting an intermittent knocking sound in the dash where it mounts so I suspect something is making contact with the brace while driving. The Z1 engine cover is also rubbing against it. Any idea on what to use to silence the contact? I've got some of that weatherstripping foam you use around windows but not sure if the foam/adhesive will handle the heat of the engine bay.

was he able to keep a straight face when he said that… looks like you took it to walmart. You would have to do that on purpose and no concern not to clean it up.

I refuse to take my car to the dealership - not even for the free oil changes..

I’ve been to this dealership several years ago when I had Nissans before and never had this experience there. But, given this experience today, I’m considering finding an Independent.

I called back to talk to the service manager and the response I got was “the service manager quit several days ago but I’ll ask the GM to call you today”. But did they call? Nope 👎

Is there any representation from Nissan Corporate on this forum?

Did first oil change at 7k miles :). The Z1 funnel is worth every penny. Also installed Fumoto valve. Had in all my previous cars and love them.

Found a nail on the rear which I took to America's tire. Felt like 2.5 hours of wasted while I am waiting (the kids might get mad if Santa doesn't bring them gifts). Next time I just plug it myself but the fact that I have to drive to Phoenix tomorrow, didn't have time.
