Broke 50 thousand miles in the Nismo today! Im thinking its the highest mileage nismo stateside but Iβm curious if anyone in Japan or elsewhere has me beatβ¦
Sounds like its perfect though if youβre still able to drive it around town though! I need to read a lot of this thread so apologies if you answered already but do you have an aftermarket exhaust?
Does anyone have an idea of just how much louder a set of catless lower downpipes from AMS would be compared to the catted version? I know it will be louder but I really have no idea of just how much. I'm planning on installing the full downpipes soon and I want it to be louder because i've...
Haha the plastic broke and i've been lazy getting a replacement from AMS... The car is back and I'm currently doing my break-in process with the new engine!
I posted about this in the "What did you do to your Z today?" thread but figured i'd make a separate post now that i've gotten my car back with a new engine and turbos covered under warranty.
What happened? I went to Sebring for the first time last month for my first track days of 2026...
Got some good news today though that Nissan is going to be covering a new engine and turbos under warranty π I am so glad they didn't pull a Toyota...

I wish I knew. During the last session of the day I got an oil temperature warning for only the second time. Started to back off but the temperature just wasn't going down nearly as quick as I expected. Eventually made it back into the pits after a cooldown lap and next thing I know it's...
Hard to know for sure. I would say a small percentage of the total but its had 16+ days on track and I spend a lot of time driving around the mountains in Western NC in a very "spirited" manner. I've run into so few issues that I'm actually starting to get worried that I haven't had any problems...
got some quick jacks on black friday and put the all season tires on for a few months so i can keep driving around and not have to worry about freezing cold temps. Coming up on 42,000 miles now :please:
This is on Continental ECF tires. Never got a chance to track the stock dunlop tires unfortunately. No braking issues provided you swap pads/fluid for something more track oriented but be prepared to go through pads pretty quickly on track. I was going through a set of carbotech pads after 2...
