I think it’s the same just taped differently. The lines and the bevel of the upper part seem to be the same to my eyes.

Car is looking great! And on the day Porsche priced me out of their cars with the $10k increase on the base 911. The 718 has gone up like $8k in 2 years. Combined with the lotus $12k price increase on the Emira.

thats a pretty convincing argument as if you look at the black tarp car from December it appears to have that horizontal grill split covered.

That split detail looks pretty deliberately crafted - look how it's contoured and tapered - I'd say that stands a good chance of being final design language. Different taping is the likely culprit here. If I had to guess, the sides of the overall air dam slope down at an angle beginning somewhere beneath the headlamps and the cooling ducts (presumably) are integrated into the slopes toward the outer corners (making them potentially semi-triangular).

did a little research and this Z has a different Michigan manufactures plate than the other 2 test mules we have seen. so definitely a 3rd car

These look to be the same tire off my GTR. Mine are runflats. Are they really putting runflats on the Z or does Dunlop make a non runflat version? mine are DSST CTT the spy pics arnt so I assume that is the difference

The Dunlops on the NISMO 370Zs are runflats also, so wouldn’t be unprecedented if these are too.

Though previous gen tire sizes were different, 245 front 285 rear, and now the Performance Z runs 255 front 275 rear. Wondering if Nissan will contract new sizes from Dunlop or reuse the same exact tires from last gen? ?

I cant tell from the pics if these are the exact 20" wheel or a 19" version of that wheel. if they are 19" they could easily be made to fit the 245/275 set up like the current performance wheel of the new nismo LMGT4


the piece of black tape is on the same place on all the wheels. that is for sure the NISMO logo being covered up. I just cant make out the sidewall well enough to see the markings on size

Getting that Nismo-edition stop sale to go with it.

Ya I tried zooming in on the sidewall but I couldn’t make out the sizes either ?, the mystery continues lol, perhaps a photo wizard will come along n brighten/enhance these shots to make it out

That’d be pretty neat if they adapt the GTR size wheels though, prob would be inline with ensuring additional clearance for running what appears to be larger 15”+ brakes

The front end slats were there just to throw us all off. "Modern 432" has always been the approach for the RZ34 Nismo. This new front with the ducts on the side is a shock to even me however.

Tuned VR30, Bigger Turbos, 500hp, 60-70k, Lots of stiffening.

No way it's 500hp

NISMO has never put 100hp gains on any production car it's about balance for them. 350Z 0hp 370z 18hp. My GTR NISMO got bigger turbos and 2lbs of boost and it's was only 35hp gain (initially a 65hp gain until base power was raised to 565). They aren't dropping 100hp in a parts bin car (I say that with love) that barely made it to market for budget concerns. Also it won't have more power than the actual GT4 racecar version which is 450
