How much gas did you have?
The Z33 and Z34 (and RZ34) have "saddlebag" style tanks and were notorious for starvation after hard left turns, especially if you were under 1/2 a tank.
Stingray was posted for 70k, got them down to 65k + TTL
This is straight up a poor man's exotic, the chassis feel is amazing. The pushrod out back takes some getting used to if you're used to DOHC most of your life.
You have to let it warm up, thoroughly.
DCT is on point, the nannys are there...
I did a thing folks...
2023 Corvette Stingray Convertible, Red Mist Metallic, Z51 w/ 2LT and front lift.
I've always said "The Z is the only car that could keep me out of a C8" but when Nissan fumbled and C8 prices came back down.....I couldn't pass it up.
I've always wanted a MR car.
So, am I the only one upset that Nissan was hiding a whole ass VR35 motor from us and they are slapping it in the SUVs?
I don't know anyone that would pass up a stick shift VR35 powered Nismo Z.
So I've seen the RZ34 4 times in Houston problem is, I think I may have seen the same 2 twice.
First time I seen them both, they were going the opposite direction of traffic on the freeway
Second time I seen them both, it was upclose on the street in traffic within 5 min or each other - both...
Hop on Turo! - Yeah you'll pay $100-200 for a day of driving but IMO it's worth it.
EDIT: There is one RZ34 on Turo and it's an A/T Proto Spec in Las Vegas.....damn
Frankly OP, you'll be lucky to get out of it clean. I would aim for however much you still owe on it.
The miles are killing you, You may have the current record at this point. Also, Zs are starting to sit now (when they do come in) - Too many "better options" to the common man.
