I detest the Browns, with a passion. Don't get me started down that rabbit hole of idiocy - they are why I don't watch Football.
Basketball however....
The Z fits in a sweet spot. It's the cheapest "real" sports car you can get with a decent amount of power....hear me out
We're talking proper, real deal built to take a lickin' and keep on tickin' "Sports Car" - not a "sporty coupe"
Corvette: 60k 70k+, >500 hp, V8, Gas Milage isn't the best...
Hello, I flip from time to time and I have several buddies that do successfully it for a living.
These days thanks to sensors, cameras, etc cars are tremendously easy to total now - a lot easier than you would think.
I'd find out where the damage was, as long as the frame/monocoque is still...
I was thinking the v2 bumper should have been the v1, that new bumper is perfect on the RZ34.
Nissan hasn't nailed a refresh this well since the DE 350Z > HR 350Z or the M37/56 > Q70
Previous owner was cheap AF and did goofy shit like....replace a single corner if something went out rather than 2 or 4 corners.
Because of this, the daily bounces in really weird ways when I hit bumps. All 4 shocks have different miles on them - one is blown, one is almost gone, one is old...
There is truth to what you're saying - I'm catching hell with Q70S 5.6 stuff as we speak, luckily I can dabble in the Z34/V37/R35 parts bin and it'll work.
That being said, RZ34 is a Z34 with a VR30. Anything under the skin shouldn't be too much of an issue. It's going to be anything skin...
I'm more pissed off I had to find an actual car version of the motor. I was hoping I could just swap the dual intakes/throttles over - nope.
My advice to anyone buying a 5.6 M/Q - Buy a spare motor
Update: This sucker was full of surprises, regular unleaded screws the fuel system on these (shoutout to the previous owner)
Low Pressure Fuel Pump, Fixed, HPFP went out on the test drive.
High Pressure Fuel Pump, Fixed, Noticed an odd sound on startup....learned about VKs and Lifter Valve...
I had RS*R Downs on my Q50S, takes a while for'em to settle down (like 1k+ miles) but once they settled I had a 4 door go kart. (fully adjustable suspension prolly helped too)
