New Z Model Name | What Should It Be Called?

Seeing as thereā€™s only one other twin turboā€™d generation of Z, that one is good too šŸ‘šŸ»

New Z Model Name | What Should It Be Called?

Personally I never really got the confusion with Nissan dropping the number designation, since most automanufacturers donā€™t update model names with every new generation anyway, including the Z in Japan (i.e. itā€™s always been ā€œFairlady Zā€). Every car community has a nomenclature to refer to...

    MC's 2024 Z NISMO

Yeh I could see how they wouldnā€™t be very ā€œprettyā€ from factory since the stock cover hides them; Would be nice if the NISMO USA team added a heat exchanger swap to go with the rest of product line, or at least a cover kit You really did clean em up nicely tho! Definitely one of the nicest...

    MC's 2024 Z NISMO

You ever consider replacing the stock heat exchangers for something like the AMS units to get a blacked out look? I imagine theyā€™re easier to maintain aesthetically too Alternatively I wonder if the stock units could be ceramic/powder coated w/o impacting heatsinking functionality šŸ¤”, for those...

New Orange Paint for 2024MY Nissan Z

Id be all over that haha, I love my v2 NISMO but favorite Z would be a ā€˜14 NISMO in Magma Red (not technically orange but close enough) Doubtful thatā€™ll ever happen with the modern NISMO design language, one can dream though šŸ˜Œ

Possibly selling black 2023 Z to purchase a Nismo

Pretty sure Nissan reps have already mentioned something along the lines of if the demand is there, theyā€™ll make it happen. I strongly believe the AT-only move was to ā€œput their best foot forwardā€ regarding performance reviews, in response to the thrashing the launch Z got from the car...

NISMO Japan Announces new Titanium parts for RZ34

It could simply be length of the axleback section, isnā€™t the NISMO overall length greater than standard Z? And those tips look welded so prob canā€™t be adjusted I believe this was the case with certain exhaust offerings for the 370Z; some sold in ā€œNISMOā€ and ā€œregularā€ fitments

    MC's 2024 Z NISMO

Your garage is looking like a NISMO museum, the car looks stunning šŸ˜ congrats. And that engine cover looks so awesome, particularly on a NISMO; Its a miss on Nissanā€™s part to not include that, def a must-have mod

New Orange Paint for 2024MY Nissan Z

Iā€™m just excited to finally see an šŸŠ added to the color palette. Probably my favorite color for a Z car. Though, if a version of that orange customized proto edition ever comes to USDM, itā€™ll be a very tough decision between that w/ 6MT and a NISMO šŸ¤”

Nismo Z vs Mustang Dark Horse vs GR Supra

They have it listed as a ā€˜22 on their leaderboard, so same spec as this ā€˜23 I believe

Nismo Z vs Mustang Dark Horse vs GR Supra

Strangely enough, the time SG ran with the MT Supra in this video was over 1sec faster than they previously ran in the auto on same tires, according to their leaderboard.

Nismo Z vs Mustang Dark Horse vs GR Supra

As usual SG always makes pretty top notch comparisons/reviews, so kudos for running this matchup so quickly. Although I feel like thereā€™s a other factors to consider vs reading the times at face value. Most glaring was that the NISMO n DH were run on a cold damp track, while by time of the...

    100 Octane + 91: Driving Impression in RZ-34

Oh nice, would not have expected that for those motors. The VQ37 was considered high compression also n seems to run a bit better on 93 too, even though itā€™s rated for 91; Figured it was the standard rating for factory performance motors since itā€™s the more common high octane fuel. I guess the...

    100 Octane + 91: Driving Impression in RZ-34

Oh thatā€™s nice atleast, tho still strange you can buy essentially race-grade gas in CA but not normal premium-grade šŸ¤” Wonder if thatā€™s a state regulation or just a logistical issue of some kind for fuel stations?

    100 Octane + 91: Driving Impression in RZ-34

So CA doesnā€™t sell 93AKI anywhere but some ā›½ļø carry 100?? Not sure I understand the Cali logic there lol I was surprised to find that the OM for new Z actually recommends 93AKI as preferred fuel, as it seems like most OEM max recommendation for performance vehicles is 91AKI (presumably cause 93...

Diff (??) gave up at the track, ouch!

Thatā€™s the intuitive assumption if launching hard with an open diff. Though the Z has a 4-channel ABS controller so each wheel can be independently braked; I think this is partly how the factory VDC/TC system operates. From the comments doesnā€™t seem like they opened up the stock diff at all on...

Diff (??) gave up at the track, ouch!

There was a FB post about it, sounds like it was a stock Sport diff. Some were claiming the Perf LSD hasnā€™t had any issues like that so perhaps the base open diff ainā€™t a good candidate for drag racing on slicks..

Finding a dealer who decides MSRP+T+T+T is Enough!

Damn man, donā€™t think ive ever heard a story of a dealer backing down completely from ADM like that in this market, you must be a magician! šŸ˜‚ Congrats!

    2024 Z NISMO Reviews

Iā€™m sure baseline dynos will pop up as soon as a few shops get a hold of these. Hopefully one of em does an octane comparison

2024 Nissan Z and NISMO Pricing (MSRP)!!

While that pricing structure would be super competitive, itā€™s also a total pipe dream. $45k is what the 370Z NISMO w/ 6MT cost over a decade ago (not even factoring inflation), and this gen is more than twice the car w/ much more potential I think part of the issue with the car community...
