I love the car but here are some of the things I wish were.... hmm... different.

- I wish the exhaust had a bit of a better rumble, hopefully I can find a way to fix that while preserving those remarkable tailpipe tips.

- In Canada the car has only one reverse light and the other side (left) is a red foglamp. There are a number of things that bug me about this and first and foremost is everyone tells me I have a reverse light burnt out. I thought that even at delivery. I wish I could change that.

- The red rear foglamp only utilizes two of the leds instead of all of them and they sacrificed an entire rear backup light for that. There would have been room for both on the left.

- The backup camera actually sucks, and I mean it sucks, the quality is pathetic.

- I keep getting a message that the front sonar is disabled due to abstruction even though there is no obstruction. Recycling with the ignition fixes it for about 15 minutes. Happens mostly on hot days.

- The car uses a standard gas cap, I'm going to go capless as soon as I find the right one.

- No wireless phone charging and no wireless android auto. I remedied the latter with Wireless AA Auto

- No front parking camera, I cannot tell you how much I wish it had that.

- Both front left and front right dashboard/door area have slight rattles going over bumps.

- Red lights inside the door are not functioning as actual lights when the doors are opened, seems to be just like on Hyundai. It looks like a light but does not light up.

Other than that.... I love the car

Yes the blue interior and yes my plate covers have a slight blue tint.

I agree on the back up camera it's like looking through a dimly lit aquarium. We have a 2023 pathfinder and it's camera is super crisp and bright. Nissan just decided to use the old 370z camera to save some $$

Also the fact you have a little cubby for your phone but it doesn't charge it seems odd as again the pathfinder has the same looking area for your phone but it charges. I assume also cost cutting

Wow that's exactly the car I'm trying to get there haha. Its beautiful.

That front sonar thing seems to be a common Nissan issue that has somehow persisted for years. I have a 2019 Sentra atm(my filler xar while looking for a Z) that does the same damn thing. Hopefully there's a way to just turn it off fully as it constantly shutting off is doing no good.

so for the sonar thing the reason sometimes you get that on all Nissans is if the sun shines directly on to it you will get the obstruction message. like its a certain time of the day and you are driving a certain direction it can happen

Yeah, I figured it was the sensor on the windshield, Nissan is miles behind Hyundai. I have a Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy and unless there is massive snow everything just works.

Yeah i thought about the wireless charging as well because the Supra has it, but ive seen some people say its utterly useless with certain cases/ phone sizes. Honestly i dont mind not having one.

I will agree the backup camera is pretty bad lol. I was pulling out of my friends driveway and with the sun/shadows I couldnt see a damn thing.

The front parking sensors seem to work pretty well so i dont mind not having a front camera either.

First of all, congrats on the car! I too am in Ontario, along with a bunch of guys. Was this a pre-order ?
No, I did not want to wait so I offered more than MSRP and got the car right away.

That said, I did not want to wait 1-2 years because by that time the car is already a bit dated.

My pet peeves are the lack of automatically folding side mirrors, which are handy for pulling onto a 4-post lift for storage, along with the sonar system, and the lack of a latch to manually release the seatback to access the parcel shelf before getting in the car.

having owned the car and already clocked nearly 5k kms.

I feel some these issues but honestly - it makes the car have character hahah, and i couldn't be bothered - just need to compensate more as a driver (parking mainly.... my reverse parking and parallel parking skills have gone through the roof with the new Z)

I honestly doubt you can fix the exhaust - especially if it's manual.... best bet is to get a CBE.
Not sure if an axle-back would do the trick?

Wouldn't you need to fold them in before driving on to the lift anyway?

Could it be that it's the front radar that's obstructed? The license plate looks a little low. Maybe it's blocking the radar?

Also: Blue is best.
