I think I will be going with a
valvetronic exhaust system
This way I can change the sound via the keychain

I used twist ties to wrap around the holes in the grill.
Took literally a few minutes and I can raise it back to factory any time I want with no damage.
My exhaust is on order, I am starting with just the muffler, if I don't like it I will do the rest.
I have to cut off the tips from the original muffler unless I can order a set from Nissan.
I actually had the factory stripes put on first but it made the car too busy, I then went to a wrap place and did just the hood bump.
In the picture above there is a tree reflection on the hood, ignore that.
Done so far....
- Tinted Glass
- Hood wrap
- Personal Plates
- Lowered front plate mod
- AA Wireless Android Auto
Coming in the next couple of weeks...
- Free flow air filter
- Armytrix Valvetronic Exhaust

Valvetronic means I can change to...
That is my plan to try but quite honestly the idea of a few holes making a nice tone is quite appealing.
The guy in the video seems pleased as punch and if one ever gets pulled over you can just clamp a piece of metal with a slit in it over the holes. So bend it open, insert over the pipe, bend...
I'm worried about the ground clearance with an aftermarket exhaust, I have so many speed bumps in my neighborhood.
The drilling is an easy fix if I don't like it because you don't actually drill into the muffle, just the pipe in front and that is super cheap to fix if the sound is wrong. In the...
Was thinking of this exhaust: https://www.vividracing.com/blog/the-best-exhaust-choice-for-the-nissan-z
I like it but I thought maybe I would prefer to start with something a bit less radical.
I am trying to increase the tone just a bit but trying to find just a muffler and a way to preserve...
Love some of the tims in this thread but I also don't want to belittle the stock wheels. It's probably one of the first times I am absolutely happy with factory wheels. I love the exposure of my nice shiny red calipers and the coating of the rims cleans up super easy.
The only thing I wish is...
It's down a bit over the cruise sonar sensor but it seems to work. That said, mine is a manual so I don't use cruise anyways. The parking sensors all work and it looks so much better.
I can always change it later but to my eye the car looks lower with the plate further down. I tried it up for a...
Mine was built in 11/2022 and has no issues
I love how it sounds in second so I spent a lot of time there and have never heard or felt a thing. The transmission is smooth as silk.
Am loving the individuality of the car, it makes a great statement.
I have to say it though.... am not a fan of the single pipe, it would cause me sleepless nights. I have to have symmetry or I can't sleep.
