Has anyone had any issues connecting their Apple play? Sometimes it auto connects and sometimes it doesn’t . It’s one of the most frustrating things about the Z.
Yes very frustrating, it happens if one of the wireless options on your phone is off. Better to use bluetooth and no Car Play

I installed one of these a little over a year ago and have had zero connection failures since. It adds about 10 seconds to the initial connection, but is flawless after that. It also removes the motion restriction on Carplay. I use it even in my cars that already have wireless Carplay for that reason.

yea the rear speakers, why even bother Nissan? they should have made 6x9 and put them in the rear hatch, at least we could have had some decent rear fill to the sound. that being said I do like audio system but then again my only other car is basically made of sheet metal and rubber bands, so it's not a high bar.
There's a reason, besides Nissan being "cheap" that they use small rear speakers. Bigger speakers that can produce bass need an appropriate mounting surface, basically a metal rear shelf or some metal structure that can provide a solid mounting surface and some amount of baffling. That's usually not available in these kinds of vehicles, everything behind you is just plastic panels. My Q60 had the same kind of 3.5" speakers in the rear side panels, but since it also had a rear deck, Nissan did install 6x9 woofers too.

Everyone can find something to complain about, there's a huge contingent of automotive audio heads who swear that rear speakers ruin the "soundstage " in a vehicle and they believe you shouldn't even bother.

Most people would complain about the inevitable rattles coming from larger speakers in plastic panels, so from Nissan's POV, they can't win either way....
