You were looking for a black/auto, right, @MCN1SMO? They're out there:I feel like Sisyphus. Every day I get an update on my Z the delivery date it pushed out 1 day. It was supposed to arrive Monday then Wednesday and so on. Yesterday it was monday and today it's Tuesday. Feels like I'm stuck in an never ending loop of it being 1 day away
Oh! Man, so even once the cars land in the US, there are still problems getting them actually delivered. No I mean I bought the car Feb 26th it's mine. I'm literally just waiting for it. It's 4 hours away from the dealer at a shipping yard it's just stuck there for like the last 10 days

Is it always like this but dealer inventory is a buffer (so you don't see it), or is this just exceptionally bad?
I would call/email the salesman and tell him you want it removed before you take delivery. Let them be responsible for removing it without causing any damage to the paint. Every car I have ever bought, one of my condidtions of purcahse is if there is no dealer sticker on it, don't put one on. If there is already one there, remove it before delivery. At least now they use stickers that are fairly easy to remove. In my early days of car buying, some dealers used metal plates that were rivited to the back of the car.I saw that. Hope it comes off easily. No sure why they put it on. I live 700 miles from their dealership! Any advice on removing it would be welcome.
Well, best of luck, and I hope these cars start popping up more often.I found a guy one facebook that was posting vids from the Chicago yeard. one of those 4 black Z's in this video is most definitely my car.
Thanks I just have to believe it will arrive this week. But it's already started to slide. Was the 4/10 yesterday now it's 4/11 today. A lot of buyers never know about this part of the process as a lot of times cars are already in the showroom or at the last part of this process. What didn't help me and what I didn't know at the time is my car had to go through LA and Chicago which are some of the largest transportation hubs in the countryWell, best of luck, and I hope these cars start popping up more often.
I sure feel for you. I had to put up with that same slippage, but only for a week. Then it ended up arriving a day early. Mine was delivered to the dealer on a trailer towed by a pickup truck (just a 1-car trailer), not a big car carrier rig. The dealer siad they had never had a new vhehicle delivered to them like that before. Thanks I just have to believe it will arrive this week. But it's already started to slide. I guess I made the right decision to get my car and drive it home. Although I still have to get to the dealer. But the weather looks good for flying Tuesday and being retired I can take all the time I need driving home.No I mean I bought the car Feb 26th it's mine. I'm literally just waiting for it. Call me when you’ve been waiting 720 days…only then can I feel sympathyI feel like Sisyphus. Every day I get an update on my Z the delivery date it pushed out 1 day. Heat it with a hair dryer and gently pull it off. Clean up any residual glue with methyl hydrate.I saw that. Hope it comes off easily. No sure why they put it on. I live 700 miles from their dealership! Any advice on removing it would be welcome.
