I would go this Mishimoto route, sturdy shroud is your first line defense, I know from years of off-roading my Jeep, beat up skid plates. Weight penalty is minimal IMO. Don’t think I need to replace my oil pan, yet.
CZP shroud is best of the bunch on my opinion.

I have the CZP pan, yet to install it (waiting for next oil change), but it's an impressive piece of kit, fully machined and sturdy. It comes with everything you need(magnetic drain plug, high quality gasket) except Teflon tape which is only needed if you want to be extra sure of the seal on the extra NPT port. They said it's not required but also said it was NPT and not NPTF when I asked so I'm going to opt to tape it.

The included magnetic drain plug is also stronger than the Greddy one I had bought.

The Hex looks awesome also, reminds me of the HKS honeycomb GTR transmission pans.

I couldn't recommend it more based on initial impressions.

Just picked one up myself and can confirm the build quality is superb.

Getting it installed today, as I'm taking my car out for the season and going in for the oil change.

Super excited!!

I hope CZP makes an undershroud that fits the NISMO 🙏

I got that oil pan and had it installed with an oil change. The drain plug is in a better place to drain all of the oil for every future oil change. It allows for slightly more oil and it’s a stronger material. The plastic oil pan was used for cost saving. This is a no brainer.for Z owners who care about their beautiful cars.
