I haven't seen the Sakebombs in person for any sort of comparison
but if the wait is too long and thats an issue for anyone
Stanceparts should be MUCH faster, despite being based in the Netherlands, zero communcations issues. Heck, they even did CAD work free of charge to help made design the...
return your "nismo" coilovers
Buy the Sake Bomb Garage Ohlins
or even regular Ohlins
Buy the SPL adjustable arms
you want to adjust ride height you're going to need to adjust your alignment each time
Brake clearance is not dictated purely by diameter - it depends on the spoke design, like i said before. reputable companies will have a chart; everyone else, you have to ask the maker
i'm working with a lighter chassis (Z34) and also have the shims and have not experienced any braking issues (ducting, z1 rotors, Endless MX72, Endless RF650 fluid)
but it is good to know shims have noticeable positive impact on the RZ34 as well
"Upgrades" or "new parts"??
Factory akebono brakes come with 14 inch rotors already which are massive and more than enough for street driving
The real question is, what do you need from your brakes?
Tires have alot do with with braking ability as well
If your car a street car, you don't need...
if you're equating whatever that is to a recommendation to move 19x10.5 +24 in front then you've proven my point. You dont know what wheel fitment is, so shut the fuck up and let the real ones talk
His starting point was OEM- in rear
people run OEM rears in front commonly, so again, shut the fuck up. z owners have been doing this since the Z33, if not back further than that across platforms
just because you are scared of your own fucking shadow in wheel fitment does not mean everyone...
just keep your factory wheels
throw the money in a savings account for when its time to get serious
buying used wheels, even at a discount, you'll never get the value back
all the factory sensors work except for with my track wheels, since i didn't bother getting another set of TPMS sensors...
This is willful ignorance
As i said - the FACTORY NISMO comes with a 19x10.5 +23
OP has 19x10.5 +24
it is literally worse than stock by a hair
So you can listen to a dumbass who is scared of what they dont understand
or you can listen to someone whos done both street and track setups
18x11...
i'm just sayin
a nismo 370Z comes with 19x10.5 +23 in the rear and it looks sunken AF
sell the fronts
put the 19x10.5 +24 in front
get some 20x12 +20's (GTR rear size) for your back
There are three main "arms" in the rear suspension
The blue arm is the mid-link, which has the bucket for the spring. This is the arm that is replaced when there is a "true" coilover (spring wrapped around shock) with a "toe arm" (the arm you linked to)
The red arm is the camber arm. This...
Forget Z1 or CZP
contact CJ Motorsports and ask them to make you one of these for the RZ34
https://cj-motorsports.com/products/active-baffle-oil-pan-hr-vhr
active baffle high cap oil pan
The arm that is affected by factory style spring and bucket vs "true" coilover setup is the toe arm
For factory bucket style you retain the factory arm for swift springs.
There is an adjustable replacement made by SPL Parts (and sold by Nismo with red/black colors), but those require a specific...
would not call these as stretched by any definition
pretty much all track tire makers are gonna lie and give you more width than they advertise
it is racing tradition to cheat afterall
