Ha! Two excitable boys. That aside, it is a beautiful Z. I’d seriously be interested in the green, if I wasn’t so damn happy with the Z I have.
How it should have been from the word go .... new front looks superb !!

The front end looks more 'integrated' with that bumper line added, but it's still too thin to resemble the S30s bumper if that's the intention. The corner angles are nicely done though, more swept back. But I still prefer the more aggro square in-your-face OG grille, more representative of a bumper-less 240Z

Look who's back.

I'm grateful for the video, we get to see the tan interior in regular lighting.

However, bringing a GTR owner with his GTR to compare to the Z? Nah bro. The only DNA they share is the VR engine family.

I used to own a Mk7 GTI and everyone knew it was no comparison to a Golf R. But, those two cars had more in common than the Z and GTR does. The AWD alone allows harder initial acceleration and made any comparison a waste of time. In the case of these 2 Nissans, the transmissions are completely different. The 9AT is corporate Nissan platform sharing, the GTR transmission is unique only to the GTR and specifically designed to elevate the GTR.

Anyways the car in the video looks good, everything was a step forward to me, the front bumper, green paint, interior and minor tweaks seems to all be in the right direction.

Not a fan of the wheels! But I could live with them. I'm curious if the green paint will be offered on the Sport Z, and if it will get tan cloth interior 🤔

According to this, the green will be offered in the Sport version. Unfortunately, no tan, though. Only available as tan leather in the Performance. I’d still be interested in a green Sport, if it wasn’t for the upgrades I’ve made on my current Z, the fact I still love the Z in red, and knowing dealers will no doubt try to rape me ordering one in what I expect to be a very popular color.

For what it's worth, here is what one AI inquiry was coming up with. Pretty much as expected.

"Ordering a 2027 Nissan Z is quite difficult. Nissan shifted to a strict build-to-order system, limiting most dealerships to just two or three units for the whole year. With this scarce supply, dealerships are expected to add heavy market adjustments .

1. Difficulty of Ordering
  • Strict Allocation: Nissan cut back production significantly to avoid the oversupply issues seen in past years.
  • Manual NISMOs: The track-focused NISMO model with a manual transmission is the hardest to get. Less than 10% of total production gets this gearbox, and most of these are already claimed .
  • Standard Trims: You can still order Sport and Performance models, but you must work directly with a dealer to build it and secure an allocation.

2. Dealer Markups
  • High Demand, Low Supply: Because dealers have so few cars, they do not have to worry about inventory sitting on the lot.
  • Markup Amounts: Expect dealer markups of $10,000 to $15,000 over the suggested retail price .
  • Negotiation: Some dealers may sell at the sticker price, but you will likely have to call several to find one willing to waive the extra fees."

I don't see much hope for getting anything close to the nice discount deal I got for a brand new Z in 2025. It's a good thing I'm enjoy it so much.

This sounds more like AI just regurgitating what's been stated online (forums, social media, Reddit, etc.) than actual real-world facts/experiences.
