All good...
In the end it really doesn't matter what car we all enjoy...as long as we enjoy it.
This whole thread started about a STOCK "STD Z" around a race track that didn't perform as well as it could have and it went downhill from there unfortunately.
I also totally understand people...
Honestley DONT want to start another bickering argument.
When i spoke to Charles from Lamspeed Racing here in Aus, he stated that there are many GR Yaris and GR Corolla,s running 5/600HP Daily Reliable HP in the G16EGTS with some very straight forward upgrades.
Lamspeed Racing
A little off topic, so apologies.
Just to emphasize just how skilled a driver Misha is check this out from a few hours ago.
At just on 200kmh in an Audi RS4... Coolant pump ruptured and sprayed coolant onto rear tires ....... car goes sideways and in a split second he reacts and does an...
And... That's fair enough ............. BUT! Nissan markets the STD Z (Performance) as a "High-performance SPORTS car" .... thus, you would assume it would be reasonably capable around a track such as the ring.
Agree with your statement other than the bit i highlighted .. here in Aus its not a "Bargain Price " !!!
STD Z is circa AUD $80K.... there are MANY other cheaper options here that absolutely trounce a STD Z in performance!!
Absolutely. (y)
One thing of interest though... If you were to be bothered and watch the Vid i posted earlier of the Stock Z32 he drove , you will see that it is faster at every point than the current STD Z Misha drove .... quite embarrassing considering the 35+ year age of the Z32 !!
I do not doubt your Z with your "modifications" .... i am just referring to a bog stock "STD" Z.
My "Old" Z32 with it "modifications" ( 500+ whp) was Sooooo much better than the bog stock STD Z i drove !
I drove it to the dealership, so it was out of the "old" into the "new" ...then back...
Not my criteria, but it does show how cars do compare .
I am a LONGTERM Z fan, but when i test drove the STD "Z" it was a huge disappointment.... basically, a big heavy, wallowing affair! and the "400HP" certainly didn't feel like "400hp" .
Nissan market it as a high performance "Sports Car"...
