Oh my car is absolutely garaged. But I still have to go places as it is also my daily driver. And the Southern California sun is merciless.
I'm also not super thrilled that I can't really wax it because it has some Resistall360 on it and you can't wax with that on there. The worst part is that...
This is good stuff. While I absolutely love my Infrared IS 500, the sunlight is really hard on the paint. I probably should have gone full PPF, but I didn't want that extra cost. Now it's too late (well, nothing is ever TOO late because I could still do it but it would require extensive paint...
Here is me over here thinking absolutely nothing was going wrong over at Honda. But then, silly me, I remembered the new Prelude. Snap back to reality.
I'm taking another route different from people who have criticized the look. I'm going to GUESS that you did not have the covers completely fitted when you took the picture.
But if that IS how they look, it's not a really good look IMO.
That is absolutely brutal weather! Where exactly DO you live? And in regards to Circle K 91 octane, I would verify where they get their gas. I try to only use Shell V Power or Chevron Techron in my IS. The additives in those brands really help, but of course they do cost more. To me, the cost...
Would all of these problems have been solved if it was an actual Nissan extended warranty? Or do most extended warranties come from aftermarket companies? Curious about that.
Threads like this make me happy my IS 500 is normally aspirated. I don't have all those separate parts that put stress on an engine. OP, what is the latest status on what is going on? Pulling for you to get this resolved without you having to spend any money.
Hey everyone! I know I've been posting in here, but I haven't really introduced myself. I'm Stephen from Claremont, CA. My current vehicle is a 2025 IS 500 which I absolutely love. That being said, I've also wanted a new Z for awhile, but since I take care of my elderly 88 year old father, that...
I think that maybe it is the other parts that are NOT NISMO that is causing the problem. I am not really concerned (maybe a little) that the RC F bushings I swapped onto my IS 500 will cause a warranty issue if something goes wrong with my front suspension. But I guess it could.
Wow, that is one of the dumbest things I've heard a dealership do. This is the same old story of dealerships trying to do anything to make a buck because it's the only way a dealership can make money these days with sales as slow as they are. Nickel and diming for every damn thing.
Good luck. I...
When I had my Bridgestone tires, they were so damn loud. You could hear them all the time. I'm not sure why manufacturers continue to use them as OEM. But them again, it is probably less expensive for them to do it.
Not an apples to apples comparison, but my Bridgestone Potenza S001 tires were utter crap. Are you trying to say there's not much difference between the Bridgestone and Michelin tires? Because there absolutely is.
They are absolutely worth it. For my 2025 IS 500 (I no longer own an M2 Comp), I went from the stock 235/40 and 265/35 Bridgestone Potenza's to 245/40 and 275/35 Michelin PS4S tires. I also swapped the rubbish stock front LCA bushings for RC F bushings. You cannot imagine how much better this...
