Well I've never driven a Z so I can't compare. What is not comparable at all is the glorious sound of the 2UR-GSE that powers this car. You just can't get that kind of sound from turbocharged engines and it's intoxicating. Drive an RC F and wring it out. You'll see what I mean. Yep. The updates...

Definitely a rare find with that low of mileage. My 2025 IS 500 already has 7600 miles and it's my daily driver.

Every time I get in my IS 500 it's ancient. Hard to believe the Z is actually MORE ancient than my IS 500. And believe me, the tech in my car is ancient too. Hey! Where did that CD player come from?

Hmmmm...Almost sounds like Nissan made it difficult to replace the "Nissan" emblem with the "Z" emblem to keep previous year's owners from making the swap. Funny...That doesn't surprise me one bit.

I only tend to use Shell V-Power for my IS 500 due to my D-4S system (port/direct injection).

I'm glad my IS 500 has the option to turn this off entirely. I keep my ASC around 50% anyway.

Yeah and also the Z is actually a Japanese car, not a BMW.

I'd like to point out that I was part of their dark ages when I had the pleasure (I'm being facetious here) of owning a 2002 Nissan Maxima SE. I'm not lying when I say that was by FAR the worst vehicle I have ever owned and it's not even close.

I would also like the Z to stick around and have a makeover on a brand new chassis (the FM platform is ancient). Of course the New N platform underlying my IS 500 is also ancient so maybe I don't know anything. Also, some power folding mirrors and adaptive suspension would be cool.

Finally got around to watching the video. And yes, it is a fantastic breakdown by Nick. I too am kind of shocked at the $70K price point. That is more than my fully loaded (literally every option ticked) 2025 IS 500. I'm not saying my IS 500 is a better car, just not an apples to apples...

Amen, brother! While I also tend to try as park as carefully as possible, I too drive the snot out of my car because that's what it's for. No PPF and I already have some rock chips, but I don't care. A car is a material possession. If I ever need to fix things on it, I'll just fix it.

Similar to my wife's 2016 CX-5. It is the workhorse of our family and it has dings, scratches, pit marks, you name it all over it. But that's what a workhorse does, right?

That is absolutely brutal weather! Where exactly DO you live? And in regards to Circle K 91 octane, I would verify where they get their gas. I try to only use Shell V Power or Chevron Techron in my IS. The additives in those brands really help, but of course they do cost more. To me, the cost...
