I've only had it for a day and on Race 7 I was watching the road more than my boost gauge lol. I'm going to have to get used to it before I start looking at details. I know it pulls a LOT harder and I'm getting to high speeds very quickly.

On sport I was getting about 18 psi. Kinda worried about early turbo failure but YOLO

One would hope a user of these turbos wanting to exceed OEM implementation would ask the manufacturer for feedback.

When I was using the Stillen TruControl I had it secured and hidden inside brake fluid enclosure area underneath removable cover on driver's side.

BTW, if anyone here happens to be looking for a pre-owned one in perfect condition it's currently offered for sale here >>> https://www.nissanzclub.com/forum/threads/for-sale-stillen-trucontrol-inline-power-module.7100/

This is 100% the best way to install. There's no reason to leave it out and exposed unless it's able to look nice (which I'm not seeing).

Also +1 for Mr. Mac and the deal on his used one. I was going to buy it but got a deal on a new one I couldn't pass up.

Holy smokes I’m going to have to get new tires. Map 7 is insane on torque even at higher speeds. I can see why people say the Potenzas are not it now.

Hey Guys!

I'm glad so many of you are enjoying your Trucontrols! As many have reported map 7 is always a joy!

I'd like to clear some information up though. Dealerships may see some historical data which may include boost spikes, detonation ect, but when it's so minor it's not going to log it. If you are overboosting to where its triggering check engine codes then the ECU will log that information.
Remember that even stock cars can overboost.

Since our system is NOT altering the ECU by any means, simply riding along with it. All of your safety precautions are still in place. This means over boosting to where it would be dangerous to your car, it will still flip into limp mode to protect itself.

If anyone has any drive by videos, post them up. I would love to see some!

I am getting .8 G's on straight line pulls now, before I could only get up to .6 and I'm not done learning how to control it perfectly yet. Just one example of how awesome this product is.

Be careful, Race 7 could cause Red and Blue lights to start flashing behind you.

😁
Briefly. Choosing to watch them is optional.

Probably a dumb question but I’ll ask anyway. After installing the TruControl, is there any reason to mess with the sport mode that the Z already comes with? I’m assuming you’d just use the TruControl instead.
