I did race 7, sport 4 and eco 1.What mode are on?
I guess I wasn't clear. I thought the way a piggyback ECU achieved increased boost was by modifying the boost signal to make the main ECU think the boost is low., causing the main ECU to keep letting boost build beyond where it normally would be capped. If it had standard boost it wouldn't be a tune
Z1 advertises the hotbox as providing "modest" gains of 20 wheel hp (their words). Can anyone clarify is the Stillen true controller similar to Z1 HotBox tuner?
That’s my understanding.I guess I wasn't clear. I thought the way a piggyback ECU achieved increased boost was by modifying the boost signal to make the main ECU think the boost is low., causing the main ECU to keep letting boost build beyond where it normally would be capped.
If true, the computer shouldn't log anything weird unless it logs the unaltered signal that goes to the boost gouge in the cockpit. It also could be the case that the piggyback ECU achieves the boost increase another way, and the ECU is seeing/recording the increased pressure. Not sure how the ECU collects and reports data though. Maybe it just retains max and min values for each parameter? That’s my understanding.
The VR38 looks nice in the GTR R35It's not Nissan, it's everyone. If you want a pretty engine then time travel back to the 60's
Thanks for the input. I have Nismo CAI which might make it a bit tight. I will check this afternoon. Very much appreciate your help. Here are my routing pics. Put the module on the right side airbox, will stay plenty cool there.

As far as the modes. There are 7 maps, that’s it. 4 on eco, sport and race is the same map. No difference. The eco sport and race categories are just bookmarks for the user to quickly go to the map they want to set bookmarks for.I'm still not really understanding the modes on this thing. Will at stillen is saying there are 7 total maps. I started out on sport 3 and then stayed at sport 6 for 1200 miles. I just went to race 7 on Friday. This product is amazing for the price. The car is definitely sketchy now and should not be WOT if you're next to anything lol. Can someone explain the maps on this? Because with all 3 modes it seems like there are 18 maps. 5, 6 and 7 for all 3. Has anyone dynoed the car with this other than stillen?
I'm not understanding at all.As far as the modes. There are 7 maps, that’s it. 4 on eco, sport and race is the same map. No difference. The eco sport and race categories are just bookmarks for the user to quickly go to the map they want to set bookmarks for.
Think about it this way. There is no race, sport or eco modes.I'm not understanding at all.
