Thanks, I use 5w/30 too and have a Z1 catch can also. Iām surprised at how black the oil gets so soon after an oil change, the ridiculous plastic oil pan still holds nearly a litre after draining due to the position of the drain plug which doesnāt help.
Glad you got that sorted, l have 23 Proto myself in Melbourne, l noticed they fitted oil filter 15208ED50A which is for the Maxima, Micro, Pulsar and Qashquai.

Wow thatās interesting, l also get a strange metallic random tinkling noice from the right side of the engine on warm up like a coin is rattling around under the cam cover ( only noticeable with the hood up) goes away when hot.
