First one I noticed was 2 weeks ago on the hood. Ordered some touch up paint and fixed it.

I got about 9.5k miles on my Z

I didn't even make it 200 miles 😭

Dr. ColorChip to the rescue. Love that stuff! Actually works as advertised; been using it for years on multiple vehicles.

I, fortunately, have yet to notice one at a little over 2000 miles, knock on wood. One thing I try to do, and it can be damn difficult, is to maintain quite a bit of space between me and the vehicle in front, especially if I'm in back of any truck. The jacked-up pickups around here are the worst. If I'm using active cruise control, I try to keep it set at the maximum three bar setting. Of course the jackwads around here just see it as an excuse to squeeze between me and the vehicle in front. :sneaky:

Pretty much right away. I bought my car in Texas and drove it back to Mississippi. I brought some temporary track wrap, but got caught in a torrential downpour as soon as I took delivery. No chance to install it.

Been using Dr. Colorchip for years and is always one of my first purchases whenever I buy a new car. Their Bayside Blue is spot on, and I had my PPF installer use it for pre install paint correction.

I don't want to know so I take my glasses off when I wash the front bumper, ignorance is bliss

I do have a paint pen ready for when I work up the courage to check

I too try to maintain a decent distance from the vehicles in front, vehicles coming towards me at speed on two lane roads are always a worry. I noticed the other day a significant triple chip on one of my headlights. Super annoying, have no idea where it came from. I spent an hour buffing it out with acrylic/plastic polish.
