Visited 3 dealerships. All were pleasant. 2 offered me an acceptable deal, 1 offered an insulting deal. I purchased using an acceptable deal for the exact car I wanted. Win-Win.
oh, fwiw, I'd test drove at a dealer I didn't buy, but not at the dealer I actually purchased from.
I think Z has a female thread connection in the front bumper frame (not sure if there is also a rear). Does anyone know whether the threads are universal among all automobiles? Or, do I need a specific tow eye with specific threads just for the Z?
My oil level is exactly at top mark. however, this is the āfactory fillā as Iāve not yet changed the oil, only 1,100 miles.
if youāve changed your oil & level shows in the middle of the High & Low dots, you are fine. Iād only add If it were at thelower dot.
watch it closely as you use the car...
I admit that I donāt check oil level as much as I used to. I do monitor temp & pressure. I also measure what I drain at oil changes. & I check level now & then. (Always after a change).
Havenāt had an oil burner/ consumer since my ā88 F-150 302.
Always wanted a Porsche. If I had Real money. LOL. Glad youāre enjoying the Z.
I traded in a ā19Z06 7M corvette.
I think the Z is more useable all around. The vette sat in garage too much.
And the Z is just fun to drive.
I'm old school, haha, and I've been wondering about a red pinstripe on my black Z. It would match calipers. Or a silver to match the roof line, and my after-market rims.
Something to accent the solid black.
On my Honda SXS & 4-wheeler (aluminum bolts), I just use my smallest, 1/4 inch ratchet & bump them tight.
You can almost feel how weak they are, nearly stripped them, once.
Good luck.
