Floc cameras sometimes use instant-on K band in some areas. I was driving in a parking lot that had them and all of a sudden K band was full signal then slowly faded but I barely left the lot.
Ah yes! I see you left the middle part in. I cut that part out. I'm surprised CZ doesn't sell a special aluminum under shroud to accommodate their oil cooler.
Yup! The oil temps are just overall lower. I haven't tracked it yet but I did see someone on yt with a cz cooler, not sure if it was on a new Z or not, but the oil temp flatlined at 250F. Also the track definitely was not anywhere near the north east. I saw someone on here cut the oil...
Dayamn! Over here the hottest it can get is about that, but hot summers are average 90F. I took a 40min drive today on the highway in 86-90F varying ambient temperature, and my oil never exceeded 172F. The upgraded oil cooler really helps. I'm also running 5w30 motul.
If only the DriveSmarter app from Escort would integrate into Google maps. Temporarily store remembered detected radar locations. I emailed Escort about a reverse rear camera as a replacement to the stock one that could also function as a regular camera recording. Wire would be for the...
Exactly. Nissan still uses the VQ35 in the '26 Pathfinder. Now imagine how refined that engine is? Sure they probably recommend using 0w20 but maybe deep down inside their engineering department they know damn well it's too thin for longevity and that thicker oil won't hurt the engine. The...
I've seen his vids, also the test Toyota did where they found 1.5% fuel economy savings going from 0w30 to 0w20 (or something similar it's been a while). I even switched to 5w30 in my Murano and the only real trade-off is slightly less fuel economy during cold weather (sub 45F). Idk I guess...
For those saying "do what Nissan/mfg says" the manufacturers have been bullied and extorted into fuel economy and "saving the planet or else fines" so if they fall in line with orgs like the EPA who's priority is not longevity, then they will instruct you to prematurely destroy your engine.
I know from experience in Sport mode that while sharp turning it will hold gears but on long straights it will eventually upshift. I avoid Auto drive in Sport mode. However to the fuel savings point, in Standard Auto mode I managed 38mpg going to Connecticut from Long Island. Pretty impressive.
Is the infotainment system newer in the '26 models? If it comes with a wireless charger it would make sense that it supports wireless android auto. The new Murano does.
