She is a big one. Had the following cars 2004 350z coupe, 350z convertible, twice 2006/2007 S2000 ap2, & ND Miata. The heavy cars aren't fun around the corners.

Trouble is I live in a locale where virtually all the roads are arrow straight, so cornering thrills lessen in importance for me. If I lived near the lovely hills outside LA my priorities would be different.

It's funny to watch the Throttle House review guys (who are in the same general area I am) have to rely on ONE road in their street-based review videos to show how the car corners, it's the only curved one they can find nearby lol.

Yes weight does play a bit of a factor, of course. I wish it were less, but I'm not drag racing nor going to be a Texas highway hero. It's a 3 season car for me, on mountain B-Roads, and will see some track use (not scca parking lot tracks). If it loads up and transitions that weight well enough in my driving I'll probably be ok. If they don't mask it well though, then it's out, and I'm back to the Supra if the manual comes out, or the GR Corolla. Or I may just go dad brain and just get a new M240i or M2. The M240 is heavy but BMW masks it well especially in their AWD models, and at that point it is what it is for me. There is still the new STI, but I have little faith in Subaru anymore.

It funny though, but if the 86 came in Turbo or even Supercharged with closer to 280-300hp, I would've likely went with it. They have the engines for it, the WRX turbo motor, and the G16E-GTS GR Yaris motor, but they did what they did.

It won't stop me one bit. It's not gonna be a track car for me so weight is pretty irrelevant.

The 370Z handles better than the Mk V, The TT Z is improved over that - I think we'll be OK.
it doesn’t, get off your high horse. Give me an article or empirical data showing that. Every test, laps, comparison, the Supra beats the 370z

370z ran the ring in 8:11. The 2020 supra (335hp) ran the ring in 7:52.

car and driver lightning lap.
Supra 2:59
370z Nismo 3:11
