I don't buy much of that, maybe it's some stupid restriction Commiefornia put in against new model cars recently, because heres my stock SS 1LE. Car is loud for a factory exhaust, more pops and bangs than a vape monster inside VW/BMW too.
You already know the answer here. One is a legit...
In the end, almost anything can take something it shouldn't if you throw enough money at it.
That being said, most commonly mods being BPU (which includes tunes these days) the Supra is lighter, that alone is a deficit for the Z to make up. And it's on a modern purpose built chassis.
Honda does supposedly have a sports car under wraps in development, but there have been no leaks on that one so far. Just speculation. People fearing for the worst that it's some EV S2000.
Interesting that it's a BMW casing but internals are actually Toyota supposedly? Which is good, because BMW manuals are a little iffy.
Amazing performing car. Unfortunately I can't fit in it, and my back and neck doesn't like to flex/compress as much these days. Worse visibility than my current...
They always talked a bit about the Z. I think their fanbase likes them too. They're just very disappointed with the new Z like many are. Nissan needs this feedback. These guys have turned the horse into glue now, which is fine. It's such a beautiful car, the last ICE Z, and Nissan whiffed on a...
It's clear at this point that the Z is not for the track, or a spirited B-road slayer. If you want the looks of the Z, and want to be competitive, buy the Sport trim, and with the $13k you saved from buying a "performance" trim dump it into suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, and diff. You'll...
I was assuming they would fix that if Nissan didn't, as far as fuel cut goes. Unless it is fuel system, oil, or cooling related mechanically, then that will in fact become costly.
Great power numbers from a tune, as expected. Very easy to extract power from a turbocar. And we knew this engine will give a great bump coming from the Infiniti.
Focus the rest of the money into the suspension with a super kit, sways, tires and pads. It will be costly to mod out, but that...
I'm more curious at this point how or even IF Nissan responds to the repeated embarrassments. They can't bump the price up with new parts, they painted themselves into a corner with the absurd pricing. A Nismo edition at $55k+ is too high.
Maybe they come out with a Track that has brakes that...
Stop! Just stop it! It's dead already.
I don't even think this is a good GT car for the money. It's pretty obvious people are in love with it's looks, I get it, it's gorgeous. Or perhaps the Z heritage. Car lovers do irrational things. Enjoy.
But at this point I'm more curious to see how and...
That's the thing, when you get good value from a car in this price range you get things like adjustable dampers. And thus my SS 1LE I just throw into Touring mode (or leave it in touring regardless of mode selected via menu) and it just cruises along nicely. Best riding sports car I ever had...
Should certainly be against the law, and every dealership in America should be investigated because they have been doing this for a long time. When I bought my Focus RS we had people expose that dealers in a state were working with each other to hold the mark ups to ensure they all get extra...
Nobody should pay ADM out of principle in the first place.
That said the Z premium isn't worth it's asking price. It's missing out on so much performance, bells, and whistles compared to the competition, as well as fit and finish. There are much better options for the money. But as car lovers...
Gotta love when these part makers either do it themselves, or get some kid in college to make a video for school project and create an exhaust video and proceeds to put terrible free use music over top of it.
Yes. The B58 is superior. Closed deck, I6, decades of BMW knowledge. Just watch the Savage Geese vid when the tuners talk about it. B58 has a much, much higher ceiling.
I'm your shining example of a cross shopper, and ended up with the Camaro. Only car I have driven with worse visibility is the Supra, especially in my preferred seating position. That said, you do get used to it fast, and the camera rearview mirror is a Godsend lol, it's also great for making...
Yeah, it needs a lot of work. And outside of it's looks it's nothing special. $45k you can think ok $5k or so for suspension, sways, tires, and brake pads. But $52k? Bumping it up to near $60k then in mods to what it should've been like off the lot? No way.
Man just watching it wallow around...
