What should I pay for a new 2025 performance

What discounts should I be looking for on a new 2025 performance trim?

Instead of taking the nissans $2500 customer cash, I am going to do the 2.9% interest finance for 60/mo since that will save over $3000 in the long run.

So without that 2500, what price is a good deal? I found one for $52,500, but think its still a little high compared to what I've seen people say they can get.

Yeah, totally. But I really do want to know what a decent deal is. Not necessarily looking for the best deal possible, but I'd like to know what range people are at right now so I don't overpay. I've also been considering waiting for the midnight purple. Or just getting a used 2024 with 2k miles for 43k.

CarMax has some great examples at the moment (or did, appears most have sold) straight from Nissan. I picked mine up with ~500 miles on it (2023 w/zero owners).

It Appears that Carvana has some nearly new clean examples as well. Note the 2025's with a Montana title history. It appears that Nissan corporate sent multiple cars to auction to clear space in the corporate fleet.

the best answer is to seek out serveral cars and compare quotes. I would also check pricing on a new ‘26 model.

For the quote you have, what is the car’s born on date, milage, msrp? is this the “out the door price“ including all the fees?

for a ‘25 born on date, and ~6 miles on the clock - i‘m thinking $3-5K off MSRP including all the bs fees..

my understanding the deep cuts are long gone. My local dealer still has a new ‘24 nismo that they cannot sale for some reason.

We're getting to the end of the year, shop around Autotrader, Carguru, and others suggested, it's seasonal. Shop for the color and interior you want then narrow it down, even consider shipping or a road trip. These questions have been asked so many times already, get one you're comfortable with, try under $50K for a '25 Performance before the 2500 discount. I got mine for $49.2, it's the color and interior I wanted.

My new '25 was 50k plus taxes and fees. I got the $2500 and the 2.9%, and there was a manufacturer rebate at the time.

The deals are not like they once were, those days are gone. I would say, find a number that works for you and pull the trigger. I have had many sports cars, up and down the spectrum, and hands down, this new Z is by far the most fun car I have ever owned. I have put more miles on my 2024 in one year, then I did on my GT500 in 5 years.

The Costco auto program is really, really good. I recommend checking that out.

I agree with others that the special deals may not be as available as they were 3-6 months ago. A lot of the Z inventory has been cleared out, and it doesn't look like they are building many 2026 cars. I checked Cars.com, and Performance 6-SPD there were only 3 in the country.

With this car, the biggest factor in my opinion is negotiation.

'25's are being advertised for $47K-$48K.
'26's I'm seeing as low as $53K (MSRP around $57.5K).

The other factor is dealer adders. You get the typical doc fee, tag/title fee, etc. But some try to add protection packages, LoJack, I've even seen $75 for nitrogen in the tires...like it didn't come with air in the tires already(?!), and these can add up to thousands extra. $3,990 for a protection package from one dealership when I was shopping. Most have these fees in the fine print on their websites. It's ALL negotiable though. Depends on skill and how low the dealer is willing to go. IMHO, I'd avoid dealers with ridiculous fees from the start. Write 'em off. You have plenty of options.

It doesn't matter what you spend though, there's always going to be someone who spent less,, and countless more that lie online about the deal they got. Bottom line is to spend what you're comfortable with. Once that's done, don't look back. Just Drive!

I don't think the 2025s will give you as big of discount like it happened this year with the 2024s. Knowing the the 2026 they will be build per order.

Agreed! This car is like someone combined my S2k & C7 into one!
