I'm gonna have to do this. After seeing how the car responded to the oil change yesterday, a little extra oil should help. I drove the Mustangs hard like I do the Z, but they hold 10 quarts. 5K oil changes under hard driving was still maybe a little early.
Extra capacity + better heat dissipation!

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20 is what I'm using. So clean & clear it's hard to even read the dipstick.

The car still wanted to push the ramp until I slid the ramp hard under the tire to wedge it. Then it worked perfectly and gave me the clearance I was looking for with the floor jack.

The other problem is me, I haven't used ramps before and it feels sketchy lol...I just have to get used to it. The conundrum--I wish it was longer, I'd feel better about it...but then it becomes a pain to store it.

I need this! I've been just using hockey pucks.
I have one of these - the hockey puck is better (more surface area contact on the support pads) - here is a picture of the support pads that you need to engage

The final box for the Quickjack came yesterday so I’ll be putting that together later this week. Thinking Sunday will be my first trip to Cars and Coffee with the Z.

Side vent - I’ve been waiting for Mishimoto to have another sale since Christmas. Thanks to having all of the parts in my cart to keep an eye on price, the frequency in which they have “fake” sales is very irritating. Multiple times I’ve gone to check my cart, only to see the price stay the same but all of the parts “on sale” with new higher prices crossed out to look like they’re discounted.

Their pricing is all over the map! I originally ordered their intercoolers and heat exchanging during the Black Friday sale, but the Christmas sale was significantly better which luckily they were willing to price-match and refund the difference for me.

Which parts are you looking at?

I was lucky that z1 had inventory issues when delivering their catch can. When I saw Mishimoto was more than half the price during the Xmas sale, it was a no-brainer for me to cancel the z1 order.

I was going to order the radiator, heat exchanger, and intercoolers. That set was JUST over $2K around Christmas; it’s now $3,200. 😒

Added a new garage mate for my Z, 2026 Audi RS3. Insane little car.
I came to the Z after 8 years with a tuned MY18 RS3 sedan. Insane is the correct word... an incredible point and shoot weapon and the newer ones apparently have resolved a lot of the understeer issues with the chassis.

I miss the sound of the RS3 more than anything else but the engagement and connection with the Z makes up for it. When exiting the car, I turn around and look at the Z a lot more than I used to with the Audi too.

Those are literally perfect numbers for a street car, these lightly modded and tunes VR30's appear to be very reliable, right around these numbers. Does the car feel more responsive, how is the throttle response?
