Should Nissan consider a model in between the Sport and Performance Z?

Nissan is not going to put lots of effort into giving customers lots of options and trims as we know the days if ICE are going away. Upcoming Zs, if there will be any, will move forward with new tech like hybridization or full EV, it's coming. In the meantime, the two choices Sport and Performance will maximize Nissan's production lines while at the same time maximize profits.
Nissan is literally *already* producing other trims. In fact, they're already producing the two most logical additional trims that most are calling for (a "track" type and a "touring" variant). They simply aren't yet offering them in any market outside of Japan.

I don't think your point makes sense, as stated, since you seem to be either ignoring this or not clearly stating your position as it relates to these other current offerings. Nissan has already "made the effort," is what I'm saying.
