If there wasn't a warranty concern I would recommend swapping the fluid to a better quality fluid like Redline or Amsoil . If you are worried about warranty dump the fluid and refill with factory recommended fluid, but I guess the dealer should check it first.

I dumped the factory fluid on my Sport at break-in period, and replaced with Amsoil Severe Gear 75w90, and it is quieter and smoother than ever.

I had a bad ground wire in an after market head unit/audio system that made a turbo/supercharger whine with acceleration only.

Hmmm, I've kinda heard that whine noise... I thought it was because I did a muffler delete.
Well, the dealership said it's normal and there is nothing wrong. I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse...

With that in mind, you may want to drain & fill the differential to at least get the break-in debris cleaned out. Keep records/receipts of what you used (75W-90 GL5) and when for warranty claim purposes.

That's what I would do, Amsoil or Redline gear oils, I think you will find reduced noise with them compared to stock fluid.

The vehicle only has 300 miles on it. Shouldn't I wait a bit longer, or....?

1200 miles is break-in, I find it best to just go ahead and do it all at 1200 miles. Oil, MT fluid, and differential fluid.
Yes, agreed! 1,000 or 1,200 either way regarding changing all fluids.
  • Redline MT-85 for the manual transmission fluid
  • Redline or Amsoil 75W-90 GL-5 for the rear differential

Is the dealer going to use those fluids if I ask? I don't mind paying for it; but wonder if they'll give me a hassle given it's still under warranty....?

Likely not; they'll want to use the Nissan OEM fluids. These are very simple DIY jobs if you don't mind getting under the car and spinning a wrench, otherwise any independent or performance shop could easily tackle it with your requested and/or supplied fluids.

@KrackaC8 you are the best. Can you give us a list of all recommended fluids? Already going to put the Water Wetter and distilled water in the new Heat Exchanger.

I did the engine one at 1100 and then the rear one at about 2020 since I drove it from Phoenix to Tampa, Fl.

*Redline MT-85 - Manual Transmission
*Redline 75W90 Hypoid - Diff
*Oil - We should argue over this.
*Coolant - Use OEM Nissan blue and add WaterWetter
*Brake Fluid - DOT4, street or Castrol SRF, track
*Clutch Fluid - Motul RBF 600, also an option for the brake fluid for track. I strongly suggest people change this too.

My list is very similar to @KyleWI with just a few variations. Here's my preferred list and what's in my personal car:

  • Manual transmission: Redline MT-85 GL-4
  • Differential (LSD): Redline 75W-90 GL-5
  • Engine oil - Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20
  • Engine oil filter: OEM Nissan 65F1B/E
  • Coolant additive: Redline WaterWetter
  • Brake fluid: ATE TYP 200
  • Clutch fluid: ATE TYP 200
