Currently offering cups only.
$429 front
$729 front and rear
$828 front and 53mm rear

Rough math, and new to air cups, but looks like right now the rest (from Stanceparts) is about $450-$500 for tankless and $500-$550 with a 2 gal tank.

Cup-only sets from Stanceparts are $435 front and $735 front/rear.

I was just looking at Sakebombs site earlier. Now that they have the coilovers listed I will probably be going back this direction. I sent them an email with a couple simple questions. Not 100% sure about the cups but may get the fronts installed just incase I change my mind. Heritage addition so no real lower chin spoiler available which gives me more clearance.

Maybe I pulled the short straw, but be careful making plans for your car around Sakebomb’s timeline. Was told 5 weeks. As of today it ticked to 12, and I the best I’ve got is maybe they’ll ship this week. I’m pretty sure @Imperial pulled the trigger on his JDM Ohlins kit after me, got them and has them installed…and I still have no clue when mine will arrive.

Patience is something I’ve never had in abundance.

Sakebomb appears to be good people, doing quality work with quality parts, but at their own pace. I don’t know their situation. Maybe they’re absolutely slammed. And if so, Good on them!

No experience with them personally

but they are one shop, compared to Ohlins Japan being a manufacturer

and also “current events” might be wrecking havoc on parts logistics

either way, hope they come thru for you soon

I know their timeline is off the wall. It’s been almost a year since our email chain started concerning these, initially I was ordering swift springs. I waited then decided KW’s might be the way to go, never got the time to get everything organized and winter hit. Now I have a bench full of SPL parts and have to decide direction, but hope to hear more opinions while I am waiting. Not in a hurry since don’t get to drive car much right now due to work schedule and tend to ride bike when nice.

I purchased them on February 8.

This was a big factor in my decision to purchase the JDM kit. There is the option to source a euro spec kit as well but they're just reusing a kit developed for the 370Z that would have had unnecessary brackets for our application. I also quite like that the JDM kit utilizes OEM mounts which will minimize NVH and they do not require cutting of the dust boot

cmon, its a sports car, you want the added feeling of spherical mounts

if they're good they won't be clunking much anyways

Fwiw, sakebomb does very good work and they are very busy. But yeah sometimes they take time and also sometimes they make mistakes. I have the fortune of knowing them in person and can vouch for the work. And that the times it is taking does suck.

The quality of the parts and the tuning is excellent though. They actually race and use what they sell.

That is my abarth 124 on the lift.

This is their actual shop. One half is a facility. The other half you can not see is a manufacturing area where they build suspension, brakes, and other parts. They have a shock dyno in that area.

To each their own. I also went with the street setup for my Z1 complete adjustable suspension kit for the same reason.

@Murix The fact Sakebomb stays close to what they sell is a big win for me. I understand the logistical side of how an operation like that works also, patience.

@OptionZero I believe the draw to Ohlins, definitely for me at least, is their highly trackable yet comfortable for the street proprietary DFV technology. I don't know of any other suspension manufacturer that has mastered that balance better than what's found in Ohlins' Road & Track line of products. The Nismo Omori Factory choosing Ohlins is an endorsement that cannot be ignored for our platform.

I know Ohlins are good. The Nitrons were amusing to me. $5k and hand handbuilt, overkill for 99% of us

Jan 27th, so today's 12 weeks.
Wish they hadn't told me 5. Assume they had no clue what they were going to run into, but 12+...?
Anyway, All Good!

...and if @Murix would stop dropping his cars off maybe they'd have time to work on my coils! :ROFLMAO:
