oh I could tell you stories. I heard he allegedly reported me to Nissan for leaking internal info a year or so when I did nothing of the sort. Ive got a good friend in the Z community one of the most respected and beloved guys that he has it out for too. You wont ever catch me associated with ZCCA while he is still around

Here is some additional news and context about the 2027 Z production for the US. The rumor of Nissan shifting to a build to order style production with the Z was true. 2027 will be very limited and dealers will be able to order on average just 3 Zs for this model year. It is yet to be seen if this is Nissan sun setting the RZ34 right after its first major facelift. The good news is initially it seems the tan interior is available on a variety of colors not just the new green. Speaking of that green it is called "Unryu Green" in Japan but has been changed to "Shinkai Green" for the US market. As of posting this it cannot be ordered and there is no available color code. These might be hard to aquire early. Green will be produced starting in June 2026

As for the NISMO the US gets all the 2027 upgrades ive gone over on here previously but wireless charging is a additional small update.
Again this seems to mark a real shift for how the Z will be sold in the US . This will not be 2024 all over again so if you want one of these be proactive

I've called 4 dealers now in the Northeast from NY to Vermont. I'm asking to order a 2027 Performance 6 speed in Shinkai green. The 4 dealers stated they called their regional manager, and that there is no order allocation except for a Nismo Z 6 speed. Is this an upsell ploy? Any sales associates on this thread wishing to sell me a Nissan Z Performance 6 speed in Shinkai green in the Northeast?

From what I was told and understand that is correct the Nismo is the only vehicle that can be ordered. All other vehicles the dealership receives are that the mercy of Nissan.

I have said it before but I don't see regular Z's being made to order.

From someone that has ordered cars over the past decade I can't see why they can't have even a small allotment for custom orders.

Best thing to do is have the dealerships see what Z's are inbound and if one fits your specs. I'm doing that same thing with a few other auto manufactures that don't let you order.

Are the Heritage really selling that well? Here is one at a local dealership, automatic though. They look great, that midnight purple and Proto wheels really pop the bling! I'm not too hot on the 'Twin Turbo' side decals though, kind of cheesy.

To my understanding green isn't even in production yet I think it was Scheduled for june

Looks great but not worth the price to me, especially with what local dealers would be adding to the list price. The more I read about Nissan's near term plans, the more I'm glad I got my Z last year during the blip in production.
