Have 2025 Performance with 9 speed auto. Have been using Shell Premium and averaging about 28 mpg. Switched to Chevron Premium and mpg continued to drop, now at 22.5 mpg. Seems like my Z does not like Chevron.

My vehicles run noticably worse on Chevron as well. I've since given up on them and typically stick to Shell or ExxonMobil.

I didn't think the Z was capable of 28.
I don't keep up with MPG whatsoever, but round-trip to work is a leisurely 32 miles, I don't have a heavy foot (most of the time) and I'm confident I'm nowhere near 28.
Wow!

If we're talking combined, 28 is tough, but highway is very doable. I got 29.76mpg on my latest tank (actual calculated, not dash readout), and that was running 75-80mph the whole time. Lower speed, maybe ~60mph, likely would have been 30mpg+. Circle K premium, '24 Performance 9AT.

I get 27-31 mpg on hi way. Brand gas doesn’t matter but I always use Premium.
But generally, I prefer getting fewer miles but more smiles per gallon.

You dropped 6 mpg from a different gas? Lol

I'm not buying this story. Also don't believe you ever got 28. The best I've done combined is 22.

If you're getting 28 combined you may as well sell the car and buy a prius because you ain't driving it right.

That would be like getting a hooker for the night and instead of fucking y'all play Uno.

All my cars run better on Shell V-Power 93. Both on mpg and power.
Only gas just as good is Sunoco Ultra 94 down the road from me but it costs more.
My tuned Corvettes ran like garbage on Sunoco.

Y'all are a bunch of gas snobs. Just avoid the grocery store junk fuel. You'll be ok.

I get that all day long on mine too if I'm railing the car. If I stack up enough triple digit pulls it'll drop into the mid to low 20's

I don’t want to turn this into a political debate, but any/allregulations out the window, does the US have the the ability to suck up and refine or grow enough fuel (gas, diesel, ethanol, whatever) so we don’t have to buy it from other countries? It seems like what we suck up here we sell to other countries maybe because it’s more profitable than the suckers/refiners selling it here, causing us to have to suck the teat of the Middle East and other countries that hate us. I’m not very political or a news watcher, so idk.

Clearly, in my mind, we have issues with sucking.
