Just like the Spools, the B6A mounting brackets do NOT fit the Z.

So there we have it folks... Regardless, the B6A LDPs are now installed on my car; the Spools are removed and available if anyone wants them for cheap.

When did you get the R-LDPs? They are the new version correct? Any pics?

They are the new 3.0" version; received 3/27/26 (pics - before & after ceramic coating).

I've yet to install these, but have already. You are saying that the brackets wit the bolt holes don't line up to the car to bolt on? So basically helpd in place by the UDP and the cat back exahust now?

Do you still have factory UDP? How is the sound with these on?

I'm about to head back to RaceBox to pick the car up so I'll report back on the sound later on this afternoon. The OEM brackets, which the factory LDPs bolted up to, do not fit with Spool or B6A LDPs. I still have all the OEM pipes, hardware, etc.

Hey Parash with B6A here. We’ve installed multiple sets of these downpipes, all produced from the same jig with consistent fitment. It’s possible the unit you received may have experienced a slight bracket bend during shipping. We’ll go ahead and retest it on our end and keep you updated with our findings.


We’ve also attached a video and pictures showing proper fitment on a Z for reference.

Update #2, and much better news!

RaceBox got it back up on the lift to take another look at it, and with a little tweaking/bending of the brackets, they're now bolted to the mounts.

As far as the sound goes vs. the Spool 3" resonated LDPs...minimal difference if any. Maybe a little quieter at idle? Maybe.

Maybe it’s the camera angles, but the flange welded to the resonator looks vertical in B6A’s pics (6:00 on both), where @KrackaC8‘s look about 5:30 on the drivers side and 6:30 on the passenger side. Am I the only one seeing it like that?

That was my original thought after looking at the brackets - can’t be that hard to bend/tweak/beat the brackets into submission.

With a proper jig, nothing should ever need to be bended or modified. This entire thing is on B6A. There's no excuse for this misalignment. Zero.

I agree - my best guess is the oem bracket is bent during the removal process. The bracket (frame side) looks weak and easily bent.

The spool race/non-resonator lowers are reported to fit just fine.

B6 said they fit with pics and now they fit no problems. There never was an issue…
