@KrackaC8 i think you measured it or something to confirm the fitment was near identical to the stock one so it would fit with the shroud.

Im about to install mine soon and I also have the CZP shroud.
In my side-by-side the Dorman is nearly identical to the factory plastic pan in terms of external dimensions.

I am shocked, SHOCKED reading this thread and finding out the Z1 is up to bullshit again.. Shocked!

Anyways, if enough people are interested, i'd suggest reaching out to CJ Motorsports, who did alot of stuff for the 350 and 370, to do an active baffle oil pan for the RZ34

Look at their work for the VQ

Now that oil change time is coming up for me, I've been thinking of getting one of these to do along with the change. Did this pan come with everything you need to change it out? Gasket and plug and whatnot?
The Z1 one comes with the gasket and I bought separately the magnetic oil drain plug.

If anyone is wondering, the Z1 pan does fit in the Nismo trim.

Just got mine installed. 💪

The Mishimoto skid plate is better that the Z1 one, It reuses the factory mounting points, eliminating the need for any drilling, or cutting.
I have the Mishimoto and I like it. It is very sturdy. I feel like it negates the need for an aluminum oil pan (for protective reasons).

What I don't like is how heavy it is. Then again, I haven't seen the Z1 up close. I was interested in the CZP version.

Good to know. I haven't compared yet. Thank you.

The Z1 requires no cutting. You open 3 pre existing, unused holes slightly larger. I opened the middle one up a little too much so I don’t use it and the cover is still rock solid.

It’s the 3 points circled in red in this photo. My cover has been on 18 months and it’s taken some hits with only scratching of the coating. I’ve been pleased with it.

As far as I know, Z1‘s NISMO-specific undershroud is the only one available that fits the NISMO. Unless they‘ve added or changed, the CZP and Mishimoto only fit the non-NISMO. I have Z1’s and no complaints.

I would go this Mishimoto route, sturdy shroud is your first line defense, I know from years of off-roading my Jeep, beat up skid plates. Weight penalty is minimal IMO. Don’t think I need to replace my oil pan, yet.
