Thanks for the info, but no way I am grinding by stock bolts, not going to happen. So, 20mm it is for me for now.

Right. Just keep checking afterwards because, like I said before, I started with 20mm in the front and still got the vibration. Not to strong, but it was there anyway. I could feel it and it bothered me. Maybe it has to do with the brand... don't know...

Don't grind your bolts, unless you want to eventually replace each stud later on the future for your new wheels

I got 20mm fronts and 25mm rears, no vibration or clearance issues. If you want near perfect fitment, you'd have to get a whole suspension package, to adjust for height and camber

In that case I'd recommend doing that first before getting wheels, as it would give you a better idea of what offset to look for your setup

Helps a lot, I am just looking to have a more flush look until wheels come in a few months. We got one person saying it vibrates and another saying it doesn't ? I hate that it's kind of different for some people. But, just going to go with the 20mm and have them put on Wednesday. Will let you guys know how it is.

Also! Make sure you get spacers with the regular size studs (not extended). If you go extended, you'll need bolt adaptors and aftermarket bolts (if you plan on sticking to oem wheels)

I got garage line. Seen a few others with them here and they had no issues with extended studs. Doesn't mention that they are extended on their website either, so think im in the clear.

Wheel and Tire to Fender Dimensions for 2024 Z Nismo

Bone stock on level asphalt
Dropped a plumb line from the top outer crest of the fenders (A) and measured from that point to the widest portion of the tire (B) and to the outer lip edge of the wheels (C).

Front:
12mm (0.47") from A to B
13mm (0.51") from A to C
19x10+33, 255/40

Rear:
8mm (0.31") from A to B
9mm (0.35") from A to C
19x10.5+23, 285/35

Has anyone found a 15mm setup that works? My Z isn’t lowered, stock suspension, and on stock Performance rims but I’ve never messed with spacers before. Would spacers alone require an alignment?

All I know from my experience with my 25 Performance is that 15mm spacers in the front will not fit, I had to go up to 20mm for it to fit correctly without it grinding my rims.

15mm will never work on a stock wheel, there just isn’t enough depth in the wheel to accommodate it. It’s not like one company or the other will make a difference, it’s a piece of metal machined to provide 15mm of spacing. Minimum that you can get is 20mm and not have an issue. Others may grind there wheels studs, but I would never do that.

I have a pair of 25mm from Garage Line. I'll just give them to whomever wants them but you will have to pay for shipping. Still in their box.
I tried the 20mm front / 25mm back at the beginning. The car looked amazing. But because of vibration, and after finding out how to get the proper measurement, I changed to 15mm front / 20mm back.
As some of you know, the vibration was caused due to the studs not clearing the rim. I had them cutoff a little bit. Problem solved. I had the vibration problem with both 15mm & 20mm at the front tires.

What made you go with GarageLine instead? I’ve never messed with spacers so I have no clue what to look for. At the very least, it looks like GarageLine is roughly half the cost of the Z1 kit…

Question for those that have installed spacers - Loctite, yay or nay? I'm leaning towards adding it to the stock studs that attach to the spacers. A friend of mine that has put spacers on Jeeps put red Loctite on it since "the rotors get too hot for blue Loctite" but that seems like WAY overkill.

I didn't end up using Loctite although I did think that over for a bit. When I fitted the nuts on the spacers I dabbed a white marker over each thread/nut, then I checked the spacer nuts about 500kms after fitting, using a torque wrench and no issues.

I went with Z1 kit. Had a local performance shop install them and never looked back.
