@CPerdomo, please let me know how the 15mm works for you on the front, whether there is any clearance issue between the bolt and the rim pocket.

It works perfect. I took it for a test drive and I'm satisfied. I hardly noticed any difference. And it still looks the way it should. See the pictures. So, 15mm in the front and 20mm in the back.

@CPerdomo, I mentioned earlier that I was concerned that when using 15mm spacers on the front, the lug bolts wouldn't be able to clear the very shallow pockets in the rim. You confirmed that it actually worked for you very well, so I pulled the trigger on a set of 15mm Bonoss spacers.

After I installed it, at first I thought it was a pretty good fit too. But then I became suspicious that there might be a tiny gap between the rim and the hub. I managed to stick my phone in there and snapped a picture: There was indeed a pretty big gap in there. After I removed the rim, I could see the dent made by the OEM lugs because they couldn't clear the rim. Since this problem is a result of the OEM lug and OEM rim design, you would have the same issue unless Nissan installed different lugs and rims on the same model year Z Performance. You may want to check out your car.

To make the front work with 15mm spacers, the OEM lugs will have to be ground down by ~4mm.

You are absolutely right. I didn't see anything at the beginning. Then, some time later, I started to feel a small vibration in between 65 to 75mph. Took the car to the dealer to get balanced and aligned and the mechanic found out the same thing you said. I asked him to cut the part that sticks out too much and he did. Now it's good.
Good job spotting it out before anything else. It looks very good, doesn't it ?

There were clearing issues. The bolts had to be grinded. Otherwise, there would be vibration.

Just beware that 20mm will make your tire stick out and will splash your paint with anything it finds on the road. Probably better to grind your bolts.

I would like 15, but have been told by various people that it's not the best idea to grind the bolts down. So I will just deal with the 20mm spacers until my wheels get delivered in about 4 months.

I have been looking, and also came to the conclusion that 20mm is the way to go. I would assume this kit from Z1 are 20MM front and rear? 2023+ Nissan Z Stock Wheel Fitment Kit by Z1

Yeah, I would assume it's 20mm for that kit if it is not causing any issues on the front. Wish they would tell you what the spacer size is on their website.

So, originally, I was running 20mm in the front and 25 in the rear (I still have the 25 stored in case somebody wants them). But the vibration happened even then. The same thing was happening when I switched to the lower numbers. I would take the spacers off, drive the car, no vibration. I would put them back on, and there it was; a slight vibration between 60 to 79 mph. That's when I decided to take it to the dealer to have it re balanced. And when they took the wheels of, that's when we found out about the front needing to be shaved off. The rear were okay. They did that and it works perfectly.
The reason I switched to 15mm front and 20mm rear is that I learned how to measure the distance between the rim and the edge of the fender according to "the pros". Those are the measurements that keep the wheels flushed perfectly. More than that and it will splash the outside of the fenders with water and anything else the tires pick up on the road.

Don't grind your bolts, unless you want to eventually replace each stud later on the future for your new wheels

I got 20mm fronts and 25mm rears, no vibration or clearance issues. If you want near perfect fitment, you'd have to get a whole suspension package, to adjust for height and camber

In that case I'd recommend doing that first before getting wheels, as it would give you a better idea of what offset to look for your setup

Thanks for the info, but no way I am grinding by stock bolts, not going to happen. So, 20mm it is for me for now.

Agreed. Especially if you get rid of it some day. The next owner may not know they’re modified and they end up with the wheels falling off because there were only two threads holding each lug nut on. This is kind of ‘old man’ of me, but it could actually be dangerous down the road.

I get that perfectly.
I decided to do that because I cannot justify buying new rims over the performance ones. I would love to have different rims the same way I was looking for a different color other than black. If, eventually I change rims, I will put new bolts. That would be easier and cheaper than ruining the suspension for using to wide of a spacer. It took a while for me to decide on the spacers because I did a lot of digging and many offered negative views about them. However, I can't stand the look of the rims being too far in the wheel-well; specially the car being black. I think it makes it look worse. So, reluctantly, I decided to go for the spacers. And I absolutely love how it looks now.
