Hello friends. I installed a set of Kanjo Spec D hood struts on the Z last week. Gotta say, I really like them. It took about an hour to install (with filming.) Would probably be a 30 min job otherwise. I also confirmed that you do not need to lift the front of the car to install these struts. Turning the wheel to full lock give enough space to weasel a 13mm socet and extension above the upper wishbone to tighten the lower strut mounts.

They are very smooth. Much better than the stock prop-rod. :)

If y'all pop your hoods that much and are lazy and need hood struts, y'all may as well STRUT down to the Honda dealership and buy something that will last a while. Also, fuck your catch cans!

No one to blame but yourself when your intake/valves end up looking like the sinuses of a coal miner with the flu. ;)

I want my $60k+ sports car to have hood struts so I don't look like a poor at the meets, thank you. And my catch can does not appreciate your language, apologize. You hurt its feelings.
