How did you do it safely without damaging anything? Goo gone?
yes -pulled off easily and goo gone pro took care of the residue. One strut had a clear film over the decal - it came off as one pice and then the decal pulled off as one piece. the other strut only had the decal.

I got a set of these after watching @Schantin video. They seem to be a good quality product and the updated brackets I think will prevent the bending issues with the first version; the new design is much better reinforced. I also removed the silly stickers, which leave some goo but easy clean up with your goo remover of choice.

You have to be a bit gentle with the hood though and close the it at the midpoint and don't jerk it down too quickly. There's a lot of stress on the struts and brackets especially when you're closing the hood, mainly due to the angles at work. If you pull on the hood off center it will start to twist the thin aluminum against the stiff shocks, which have to be pretty strong to lift and hold the hood given the angle of how they attach. But I don't see how they could have designed them any better w/o requiring some drilling. These fit well using existing holes, 100% reversible, and I do like having the hood up without the prop bar in the way!
