Can you show a picture of your setup? I am curious if that works long-term. I would imagine it'll compact enough over time where it loses effectiveness which is why I changed to putting felt on the plastic trim by speedometer.
Thanks for the input. My thought process was, why take the chance or spend the extra time? I am sure a skilled refinisher could make it look decent, but for me it is more of a principle issue.
You can see the before and after. Before was just the flat tire, with the wheel in pristine condition...
Good news! Convinced the Mobile tire operator to reimburse me for new wheel plus installation. About $1,700. He immediately sent me money via CashApp which was a little sketchy and surprising. But I got the money and have part on order. His only request is he picks up old one when it’s off which...
I guess I am not understanding the difference because the photo for the cheaper wheel matches with what I have but the more expensive one has no photo. I am sure things get miscatagorized but still.
I am going to complete OEM look. The question is the part numbers. If it's $300ish great. If it $1000ish that is going to be a pain to get him to agree.
Does anyone know the correct part number for the Performance rear wheel? I originally thought it was D0300-6GP1A ($300ish) which seems too good to be true.
I spoke to someone at a parts department at local dealership and they say its a slightly different part number and costs about ($1000ish)...
It seems refinishing the rim would cost around $170. However, in the grand scheme of things, the rims themselves are not that expensive.
Also, they attempted to patch my Michelin PS4 tire, but the patch did not hold. As a result, they swapped on another temporary tire so I could drive, and...
Has anyone had any success refinishing performance rims? Mobile tire people damaged my rims and there is a bunch of curb damage. They want to make it right by getting it refinished. However, I am a bit skeptical that it will look decent enough.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
I bought it and returning. It came used even though it said new. Also, not ideal when phone is moving around while driving. Need something with magnet.
You are right. I tested it again before seeing your post. Basically no button works for Drive and Neutral. But reverse requires button. Seems to be it should be button for everything to keep it consistent.
At least it works as intended.
I noticed that I never have to press the side button on the auto shifter for it to move into Drive, Reverse, Neutral, etc.
I was wondering if other people experience this behavior as well? I’m not sure if something is broken or if this is normal. It feels like it should not move unless I press...
Yup. I reached out to Z1 if they can do a return/refund after the normal 30 days. I mean they look like they fit. I was just scratching my head why I was hearing the rear windshield. I thought it could be something else.
