If they kill the app for V1 hardware I'm gonna be PISSED.

I love what this little device does for my Z but getting out to manually change maps would SUUUUUUUUUCK.

I'd like to know the difference, I have the V1 brand new still in box. I'm still within the 30 day return period if the V2 is an actual upgrade from the V1.

The lack of (future) support for the V1 is reason enough to do a return.

Well, from what we see, there is no major difference besides they are getting their own app and have different HW operating the unit now.

Since you just got it, you have the most to lose arguably, if what is being said about supportability for the V1 with the Bluetooth App being lost is true, since you wouldn't have got to enjoy the benefits / convenience of the app and its OTA capability.

Stillen can't tune for down pipes. Just very basic stuff. It's really not a big deal to me. I just wanted the extra boost! The trucontrol is really just a budget store bought tune.

Still no response from Stillen, which is pretty disappointing. I agree with @KyleWI that this seems more and more like a platform move than an upgrade. I'm not seeing any major feature differences between the two units, which makes me think the agreement they had with Racechip ended. That, in theory, would have stopped their ability to use the app for remaps.

So long as the app continues to work for actual users, I'm not seeing a reason to upgrade (beyond remote support for re-maps).

If the app collapsed, I believe you can control the module from the unit itself. If the app fails I'm calling for a full refund.

I’m happy with the V1 on my Nismo...
How has this change affected your Nismo? I have the same model... could you offer me some details? I like how the car performs as it is but... you never know

I've tried Map 4, 5 and 6. Now I felt a substantial difference in pull but I have the Stillen Comp exhaust along with B6A type intake so the combination feels solid.

4 felt the smoothest
5 felt a bit more aggressive
6 felt like lots of trouble otw lol

I haven't been brave enough to try 7

I didn't want a tune so this kit is all I need but most of the time I'll be in Map 4 and 5.

I've been on map 7 since 1200 miles. I'm now at 6700 miles. Extremely dangerous on stock tires, but fun! Go to 7!
