^ Nope. I just don't like being on the road with dangerous idiots. If they kill themselves, then that's great, but too often they kill other innocent people. :( If you can't be bothered to drive properly, then get off the road!
I would suggest not driving at all. By your definition I would guess upwards of 90% don’t drive by your standards. I would further suggest not crossing streets or riding busses.

It's not my definition nor my standards ... it's the legal standards in most countries, as required to pass a driving test and obtain a licence! Being a lazy ass and leaning over to rest your arm on the cubbyhole cover would be an instant fail. As would having the seat reclined back so far that you're virtually laying down.

Nissan posted prices on their Japanese website- no differences in price between 6MT and 9AT.
Not sure how this would compare to US pricing, but here goes:
Base- yen converts to $40,874 USD
Version S- $47,286
Version ST- $50,400 (this is not the Proto Spec- all colors available in this trim)

Not that I don't trust Motor1, they've a pretty strong track record, but surprised to not see the press release a) hyperlinked in article or b) published on either Nissan USA or Global Newsroom. Nobody else, as far as I can tell, has picked up the story, either.

(this is me, pretending denial isn't just a river in Africa)

I think that's why they released the factory video - to assure people they're still building them lol.

If I was placing a bet in Vegas, "sometime this summer" would mean August. :(
That’s my thought too since “this spring” previously seemed like it was going to be 11:59pm on the last day of spring.
Now, it'll be 11:59pm on September 22. Excellent.

based on history with the 370z the prices in jpy were very similar to usa pricing. a supra 3.0 starts at $51,540. not a good look imo

This was my thought, also - placing the Performance trim so close to the base 3.0 Supra destroys the "value proposition" angle since the are very similar packages.
Having said that, someone on another thread pointed out that these prices include a 10% tax, so it could be more like $45k, which would be easier to justify.
