I have the ZSpeed Performance EZ-Street Quiet Stage 2 clutch w/ billet steel flywheel on my 370. The flywheel weight is 19.8 lb. The 370's stock flywheel was supposedly 31 lbs. No chatter at all. I've been happy with the ZSpeed setup and would imagine they have a similar kit for the Z.
A lot of people hate Nissan for whatever reason. I've owned Nissans since 1992 and can count on one hand the times they broke down on me. I have a 2015 Xterra Pro-4X with 98,000 miles and it has been driven through blizzards, below zero cold snaps, and Las Vegas summers. The only two issues it...
I love the Nismo. Will definitely be getting one in a couple years, to join alongside my 370 6MT. They copied the Akebono logos I have on the 370's brake calipers. I like the Nismo front bumper, but the straight line across the front of the bumper slightly clashes with the bottom of the curved...
Not surprised that the Nismo will be auto only. I thought that was the rumor from good sources something like a couple years ago. The goal was to make a "baby GT-R". I wouldn't be surprised if it is a DCT. Since I already have a 370Z 6MT, I have no issue with the Nismo Z being auto-only when I...
I have the hard black rubber version of this Nismo shift knob on my 370. I didn't go with the titanium because it would get hot if the car was parked in the Florida sun. Z1 sells a metal spacer that fills in the gap between the bottom of the knob and the leather boot.
The part number for the Fairlady Z emblem for the RZ34 is 84895-6GP1A. It does stick on with double-sided tape. Z1 doesn't stock it yet. You can order them from Nengun and others in Japan for $35.
GM sells C8's with worse defects and doesn't even blink an eye. 😁 Read the 128 pages of problems in the Corvette Forum's C8 Problems sticky thread. One guy ordered his with body-color "boomerangs" which are normally black, and three were body color and the other wasn't.
Enhancing my 2017 370Z with new Z stuff. The door scuff protectors are an exact fit since the bottoms of the door cards are the same. Purchased from Ziegler Nissan Orland Park Parts, which often has the best prices for parts that I've found.
Upgrading the stereo in the 370 base was easy. I have a Kenwood eXcelon head unit with Android Auto, front and rear cameras that can be turned on at any time (so I don't bang the carbon fiber lip in a parking lot), Morel 2-channel amp, and Focal speakers in the doors and tweeters in the dash. No...
I'm running 275's up front and 295's at back on my 370Z on the 19" 2013-2014 Nismo 5-spoke wheels. Perfect tire fitment and no excess wear. With other mods such as HKS coilovers and Whiteline sway bars, the understeer that the car had to begin with is gone.
