Since Nissan’s going downhill in quality, like going from LED to incandescent bulbs on interior lights and getting rid of fog lights, interior lights. I swapped out the map lights and trunk lights, and got weather matts. I ordered the interior lighting kit and plan to work it as soon as I get soon hopefully.

I’m trying to replace the vanity lights, I‘m just trying to ensure I have the right festoon sizes rather than going back and forth with amazon.

Auxito’s worked perfectly on my last Nissan, these are great IMHO.

Removed the rear Z emblem.
Gave her a bath.
Removed wheels, cleaned and ceramic coated…and de-nippled the tires:rolleyes:.
Reinstalled with Z1 5mm spacers all around and black lug nuts.

5-6mm of hub center exposed with the 5mm spacers, JUST ENOUGH to self-center. Also had 10-12mm of stud thread engagement. I wouldn’t go any thicker on OEM studs for that reason alone.

I also have the z1 5mm spacers. They said if I could get 6 or 7 full rotations on lugs it'd be fine, how many did you get? I haven't had the opportunity to swap yet as my wheels won't fit without full suspension stuff installed (at least on the 370z, haven't tried on the Z yet)

I have this wireless charger from my 2022 Mach 1. Was gonna sell it but I took it out to the Z and it actually sits in the cubby. It doesn't fit properly mind you...but I think I can situate it with some double stick tape and make it liveable. Obviously I didn't need the cigarette plug adapter. Why these cars don't come with a wireless charger is beyond me...then again, my Mach 1 didn't have it either. But my wife's 2024 Bronco does.

So i actually found some foam-backed double-sided tape and got it secured. It's not perfect but I think it will work. The Mustang didn't leave a gap at the left side, which kind of wedged the phone in place. But the rubber piece on the charger should keep it from moving.

Full 9 piece carbon interior, plus handbrake leather cover with the mini Z Nismo and Z1 carbon engine cover. I refuse to put carbon on the exterior. I love the Nismo exterior as is!

What specifically?

The 8 piece + 1(temp dial cover)carbon interior pieces cost me $780 by sourcing them from different vendors. Some vendors sell them all as one(8 piece kit)for $850-1200 and the extra temp dial cover piece is normally $150

I found the mini Z Nismo for $12 shipped but I modified the wheels to look like the Rays oem wheels.

Posted this on a spacer thread, but since I posted details about it above yesterday(?) I want to make sure it’s known.

FYI…They were collecting dust, so I put 5mm flat Z1 spacers on all 4 corners and I can confirm, at least on on a 2024 Z NISMO, that although there appears to be 5-6mm of hub protruding from the spacers, it is NOT enough to center the wheels. I wrestled the first one around with no lug nuts and it felt solid, but it wasn’t centered. Got a little jiggle in my moobs around 35mph and now I’ve gotta undo it all.
So don’t do that.

I'd pay those prices for legitimate replacement trim pieces made of carbon fiber, but as soon as I hear double sided tape I'm out. Would be nice if a vendor would actually make some decent quality pieces instead of charging a premium for something you'd find on temu.

Not a mod, but I drove up to Colorado this past weekend to see a buddy. We went up and down the Flat Irons a few times. Aside from the Sport model seats beating us up it was an absolute blast. Plenty of passing power and it dug into turns better than I was expecting.

On the way back I took US 285 through Buena Vista and ended up caravaning with a Cayman and a 3-series. We traded spots in the canyons and kept each other safe when traffic bogged down the flow.

This thread should be titled "What did you do *with* your Z today?" Road trips should count. @ZillaZ , WDYT?

Agree. Although, the way I drive sometimes, my Z no doubt thinks I did something to it after a road trip. :wink:o_O

Not at all, super easy install. Literally takes 30 mins to install. Drill them three holes to make them slightly bigger for the inserts.
Agreed. Also it is not like those holes you are making slightly bigger are used for anything else. Pretty low risk in my opinion.

When I did mine I messed up one of the riv-nuts cause I was using the tool upside down. Oops! But an extra one came with mine and it was easy to get the one I messed up out of there.

Seen some other kinds too like the Moshimoto one. I think as long as you get a metal one with a service panel (if you are someone who does their own oil changes) it's a no-brainer!
