Do you have upgraded sway bars in your car? I have installed them in 6 of mine. And it truly does help in this platform if you truly care and enjoy driving your Z.
My first Z was a 24 MT Performance. I changed the sawybars and the handling difference was day and night.

"But you can stay on your high horse if you want Zero. I’m just trying to be a part of the Z community here. Was attempting to find some common ground and maybe help you see a different perspective. If you want to take your ball and go home though, that’s totally fine. Hope you have a good night."
Best way to deal with it...

I disagree, specifically about RZ34's behavior, it is much too soft from the factory (non-Nismo), definitely noticeable compared to other factory 'sport suspensions' driven before, very floaty. Sway bars even with OEM springs will and are very noticeable, tightens up the suspension even on normal driving, and obvious on any winding roads. They are nice 'step one' upgrades to make our Zs more like sports than GT cars. Well worth it IMO.
Exactly my experience with my Z Performance. It's not "a felling". It is very noticeable... unless one has gotten their head so up their "racing arse" that anything else won't matter...

Yeah, this chassis is very easy to upset from the factory. I can understand however that if someone picked one up and never really ā€œdroveā€ it…. They would think that all upgrades are pointless. That’s not me though. I’m constantly chasing greatness when it comes to how my cars perform. I think it’s some kind of disease or maybe a genetic glitch passed down through generations. I could see my great great Grandfather saying, ā€œthis buggy is too heavy, and it needs bigger wheels. I’m also going to need to double the amount of horses pulling it!ā€

I mean, i was pretty up front about it. The question was about value, and i don't really put much value in chasing a "feeling" of "sportiness" in street driving environments where going fast isn't the point.

But it sure seems like people here are happy to pay for it, so good for you all

for when someone is actually trying to go fast, i'd say coils, tires, and an alignment would be things to do before sways

and then you should see where the car is it, how much bar you need, and whether you need both front and rear

but oops, i guess i'm talking on a high horse , and we should slap parts on the car depend on how they make people feel

anyone worried about installing aftermarket sway bars on a street car with a top speed of 155mph (175+ with a $1k tune) on stock suspension & brakes w/ ice mode?

How bad would a set of eibach sways be on stock suspension?

i think we should remove the speed limit signs and limit top speed per the PSL via GPS w/ a local copy of the PSL database for backup in an event you loose the GPS connection. If the system is disabled, the default top speed is 35mph like an 80’s school bus…. lol

Well, I ended up pulling the trigger on the Eibach kit because I have a ricer street racer dream of being Fast and Furious always ā€œDouble clutching like I shouldā€. 🤣

Any Nismo owners install aftermarket sway bars? I've never driven a non-nismo Z, so I'm not sure how different the suspension is compared to the other trims, or if an aftermarket sway bar is as needed.

That's another annoying feature of the Z, synchro rev-match is too sensitive. Like I said on a prev post, just touching shift gates activates it, mine is OFF. Double clutching is art and always improving on it, part of the fun with manuals!

Circling back to the Stillen swaybars...really feeling dialed in at this time and quite happy with the overall balance. At this point, I'm going to say no more adjustments needed based on my twisty backroads "test loop" and a few days DD'ing it this week. Is my commute faster because of it? Absolutely! I beat the the navigation's estimated ETA to the office this morning :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I don’t double clutch. I was just quoting a dumb movie. Double clutching was used back in the day when transmissions didn’t have synchros. My auto rev match is off as well as I can’t stand it. I do rev match myself but with a modern trans there is no need to actually ā€œdouble clutchā€ as it would take trice as long. Now. Am I an amazing race car driver that perfectly rev matches all the time? Nope. lol. But. I’m alright.
