PS. A catch can wonât void a warranty. However if you take it in and the issue IS the catch can setup itself then this particular issue wouldnât be covered under warranty.
Are you down on boost? If the catch can line or the catch cans o-ring is not sealed then you could have a boost leak. If the sound wasnât there before the catch can then that is more than likely the issue. A catch can setup has to be completely air tight.
That seems a little silly to me. Even MCS makes a full blown Motorsport damper thatâs 1 way adjustable. If the weight of the vehicle is known, the motion ratios are known and a suspension frequency target is set, then the spring rates are chosen to hit the desired target, then a set of custom...
Those were bendable cable extenders. But they would not bend that hard of a corner and come out in a better spot. So I took the extenders apart and trimmed them to the length I needed to get the look and usability I was after. One could just cut a larger hole that would enable you to reach...
No problem, sorry it took me so long. I forgot all about it but for some reason it popped back in my head this morning. Good luck! I was so worried my holes werenât going to line up. lol. It was stressful taking a hole saw to the panels.
Okay, so here is my take:
If someone said brand A is the only way to go because,
Brand B has bad wealds and is known to break! or,
Brand C is a poor design and doesn't fit properly because the mounting tabs are wrong! or,
Brand D is a poor design because the hose inlet and outlet don't line up...
I had to trim my extended cable adjustable to make it work. Basically they needed to be extended to stick out, but the full extensions would have stuck way out and touched the glass. I will try to get a measurement for you.
This is how we know that marketing and perception rules all. People arguing over which aluminum radiator is âhigh endâ vs those other âlooserâ brands đ. Be careful of your selection! I heard that if you get the right one you will make 8000 HP but if you choose the wrong one you will blow...
With the coilovers installed, I found a screw that fit the top of the adjuster without the knob setup on, popped the trim back into place and smacked the trim with a rubber mallet causing the screw to make a dimple in the trim so it would be centered correctly. (This took a while to find the...
I was told by two different tuners to stay away from Chevron when it comes to knock and a drop in timing that comes with it. One of the tuners suggested Shell and the other suggested 76. (This is in communist California) where we can only get 91. đ. I also attempt to not be a dumb ass on...
I think if with duel 2.5â @900+ WHP, and moving to duel 3â yielded zero gains it would show that there is no back pressure to mitigate. The only thing that changes between the two sized pipes would be exhaust velocity at the tail pipe.
Back pressure would be limiting the amount of CFM that...
